My choice is Scotty Skiles. I haven't seen any offense scheme in Scott Brooks' Thunder. Maybe I favor Skiles because I like coaches who runs motion offense.

You had me until the bolded part of the statement. That was NOT expected. Thunder was like going from the '06 Blazers to the '09 Blazers in just a year. Plenty teams have had multiple lotto picks and didnt have the 1 YEAR improvement like the Thunder. Sure some eventually get there, but not in that quick a turnaround.

Yes everyone had Kevin Durant as the breakout star. Yes Thunder had the "potential" tag. But the NBA has had multi-lotto pick teams go nowhere.

I think the precedent was set with Hubie Brown '04. Very similar circumstances with Brooks
    - 50 wins in '04 after only 20-something wins the year before
    - Was his first FULL season as the coach.
    - Both young teams
    - Both were relocated teams very new to their cities.

Though no doubt Scott Skiles deserves credit. It could have gone either way.

Congrats to Mr. Brooks. Hopefully they can pull of the upset and beat the Fakers.
