Uh Carl? What are you drinking? Scott Brooks? Morey? I suppose when you come down to it, it's all Bill Fitch's fault!

As much as I like Harden, we all hate the way he does iso or drive in with 3 defenders in the paint. Whenever he did that alot in the game, Rockets usually lost. I suspect coaches were not holding him accountable for his reckeless plays. I am more worried about Harden picking up 'bad habits' more than losing games. Kobe and Carmelo do that a lot during their career and it does little to help the team win.

We all know Morey and most of us love how efficient Harden was as a Thunder. His efficiency was expected to fall off as focal point of opposition defense, but to have games of 3-16, 6-17, 5-15, 4-18 should really send some alarming signals. Whenever he is getting frustrated, I strongly suggest he should be benched and cool off. It would do him a world of good while getting his focus back to the game.

It's expected that this team will lose games due to inexperience, but there were games that were lost due to inexperience of out coaching staff. I didn't expect we wouldve won against Thunder, but it was utterly dissappointment to see Sampson's inability to adjust to Thunder's defensive strategy.

Thunder had abnormal defensive set up, in which Sampson wasn't able to adjust or break their trap defense. The sole reason Thunder kept the pressure throughout the game.

Parsons will alleviate the pressure enormously as the third ball-handler. Knowing Parsons, if he gets the ball from trap defense, he will go straight to the basket. If this happened a few times, Thunder would probably 'back off' from trapping Harden and Lin at half court.

Once Cook or Morris had the ball, they just held on and waited to pass the ball back to Lin or Harden, while 'missed' the great opportunity to drive to the basket. The only player who actually attack the basket consistently was Asik. Sampson shouldve specifically instructed all players to attack the rim once the ball is passed out of trap defense.

It's one thing the team makes inexperiece mistakes, but it was pure frustration to see our coach makes them too...

    You take?

Used to see Brooks around town close to 15 years ago. He we very upset that he was traded. Said that he and Rudy T had a misunderstanding. Brooks was upset about his playing time and kept saying he wanted to get more minutes. Rudy T gave blessing to the Brooks deal believing it would give Brooks more PT. Brooks was upset at the time .. but cannot believe he still would be 20 years later.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he said those words with a smile on his face and as a joke. Scotty Brooks is anything but antagonistic.

So he was serious? I know he wasn't happy back then, but it sounded like he was jokingly making it about him in the interview. IIRC, one link i read implied he was joking.

If I had to guess, I'd say he was completely joking, and it's just another example of the media relying on the classic editorial trick of taking things out of context or stripping out tone, or going word-for-word to try to gin up controversy and create a story where there isn't one.

He's joking. Geez, he's a head coach now. The universe has made it back up to him. It would be one thing if he was a cashier at Taco Bell.
