I sort of wanted a Pats rematch too, but, you know, I think you are right, I would rather have the Broncos on second thought. I sure don't want to play the Colts three times, that would be risky. We might have the Ravens or the Bengals along the way too.

the Football Today podcast speculated that if the Texans and Ravens win in the early games, the Patriots may tank to get 4th seed so they can play the Texans in Rd 2
don't know if i can bring myself to watch the pats/broncos games. I know those teams won't choke and throw away a chance at a bye week.
We will officially be the 3rd seed...Denver and NE arent choking away the chance at a bye...good teams dont do that. And our Texans are not playing well right now. The way things are going. I think next week will be our last game for the season...Doesnt look good...dont get your hopes up Houston...
on a sidenote, it's BS that the patriots game gets pushed back to 3 but not our game. Pats get to have motivation for winning if they see us lose and but get to rest their starters if they don't have anything to play for. It's a win-win situation for them. Screw this league.
Broncos finish #2 in total defense and #4 in total offense. The only team in the NFL in the top 5 in both categories. Broncos are definitely the team to beat in the AFC maybe the entire NFL. Back to stats, there are only 2 teams who finished top 10 in both. The other team along with the broncos is our very own Texans who finished #7 and #7 respectively. I'm not sure why or what happened but we are not as bad has we have been playing. Let's hope they turn it around. *note 49ers finished #3 and #11 just out of the top 10 in offense.
