I would go DB unless one of the top three DTs is available. Most likely we'll have a choice of a good DB or two, or Mount Cody. I would also like to throw this out there: If there's any way we could get Jackie Battle in here as our power back, I'm all for it. From what I've seen of him, in the right system, he'd be quite the player. It doesn't hurt that he's a Houston kid, either. If we got Battle, I'd be fine with not even drafting a running back.
Schaub is a badass. I freaking love him. I'm glad we finally have a great quarterback in the city of Houston after the travesty that was the Carr era.
Hmm.... Al hinting that perhaps the Texans strong finish and "almost" playoffs warrants at least a possible SNF appearence next year (Texans have never been on SNF since NBC got it, ie - the marquee game of the week).
I don't think it's so much of a complaint when they rest their starters like Indy did..... but cincy played their starters and laid a gingantic can of quit. and for that.....yes, I hope every starter gets injured. seriously. if they aren't going to actually "play" don't even put em out there and just admit you aren't tryin.
Honestly, they don't lose Frye or take him out for whatever crazy a$$ reason and I think Oakland beats Baltimore, as is it was a one position game.
Eh... Baltimore deserves to go to the playoffs. They lost two winnable games to a Bengals team that somehow got every break this year. They also beat SD in SD.
I think Carr was better then most people give him credit for.Unfortunately as much as he got sacked and hit and hurried into throws by the time he had been in the league a few years he had been so abused by defenses he really wasn't the same.
I would say that's gotta be either Sunday or Monday night. That one of the Texans and Colts games will probably be our two nationally televised games. I say we have two.
Is it a given that we're playing the Cowboys in Houston next year? It wouldn't suprise me to see that game on either SNF or MNF... although something tells me that if its in Dallas, it will get the SNF nod, whereas if its in Houston, it will get the MNF slot. I'd like to think of SNF and MNF games as rewards for the season you've had... thus, if you weren't a playoff team, you don't really deserve to have a home SNF game.
Oh no doubt just saying the way that game was going I really thought Baltimore could have been had with a competent QB.
He had more physical tools than Mark Sanchez... but had absolutely no room for development given the situation he was put in. That being said, his ceiling (even if he had been developed perfectly) was not that of a #1 overall pick.
It's a given that we'll play them and the rest of the NFC East, as well as the AFC West, but do we know if we play them in Houston or Dallas?
