I might be reading too much into this, but (Bengal's receiver) Quan Cosby's twitter...

Wes welker hurt, man that's not cool, I hope people get it now! But hopefully he will be ok and ready for next week!

"I hope people get it now"... does that refer to teams resting starters?

So the Bengals basically get to decide if they wanna see the Jets next week or us?

If the Jets win they play Cincy. If Jets lose then Cincy plays the Texans.

So basically it's up to them if they wanted to just pick who they play.

So it comes down to the Bungles.

Are they at least playing for home field advantage?

Oakland's choice to punt really paid off.

I can't believe it's down to only one thing needing to happen after how dismal are playoff chances were 3 to 4 weeks ago. We needed a plethora of things to happen at that point.

I honestly dont think the Bengals wanna see us next week. I see em tanking, and scouting the Jets for 2 weeks straight...

Why would anyone want to lose to a team that they'll end up playing the following week?

Maybe they'd prefer to play a weaker defense.

    Probably not but who knows?

And its so unlikely to happen, kind of depressing. One game away and we can do nothing about it.

We'll we came close but, I am thinking the Bengals would rather play the Jets than us.

They can lose with their second team and not give a damn..we are a tougher matchup and hotter team then the Jets so that's why they would want to lose and play the Jets again.

Hey, at least the Texans fans are worrying about something in the final week, that is pretty cool.

If I'm Cincinatti, I'd want to win because if they happen to match up with NE in the AFC championship game, they get home field advantage.
