Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, and Derrick Mason are all questionable for Baltimore tomorrow. Brandon Marshall has been benched and will be inactive due to coaches decision, as has Tony Scheffler. Weird timing by McDaniels for that to be happening. Things are looking a little better if the Texans can get that win.
Look at that, our first scoreboard watch as Texans fans. I wish it didn't come to this and the colts tank hurts even more, but it is what it is. Go Cincy/Oak or Oak/KC or KC/Cincy!
Could of swore Eddie Royal was out too. Not for certain on that. But we must take care of our own business. If we lose tomorrow and it ends up 2 of the 3 teams we need to lose do lose, well I'd hate to see the reaction by some. Heads will be called for.[Maybe rightfully so?]
Not to mention if we ended up last in the division. Oh man, that would be ugly! Lets just win and avoid that.
Excited, IDK how I will react if the Texans actually make the Playoffs. It's a real possibility now and totally uncharted territory. I have a feeling that I won't really realize the accomplishment until the Texans play their 1st Playoff game
Bengals are supposed to rest starters... Texans need 2 out of 3 of DEN/BAL/NYJ to lose and a win vs NE to make the playoffs.
Chad Ochocinco say that, but he didnt got a respond, when he called his coach, asking how many times the starters would play. So nothing is sure yet.
Is it a good thing to be completely nervous already about tomorrow's game? I haven't felt this way about a Houston NFL teams game in over a decade.
It really sucks that we play before everyone else. There's just a certain annoyance when you don't know if it ends up mattering or not. But if we do win, then the afternoon games would be fun to follow.
IF the Texans win tomorrow, it will be the first time a Houston pro football team has had a record over .500 since 1993. Warren Moon likes this.
Yes, Royal AND Marshall are not playing. They will be starting Jabar Gaffney and Brandon Stokley. who cares if they are above .500 and out of the playoffs?
This is an epic day in the Texans franchise. The only thing that sucks is we shouldn't even be in this position right now. We should clearly be the Wildcard after losing those close games this year. We put ourselves in this position and now we have to come out and take care of our side of the business.
I'm still pissed at the Colts for forfeiting the game last week, but like the previous poster said, we put ourselves in this position so now all we can do is win and hope. I like that we are the only team (of the group that matters for us) that is playing in the early game. If we win, that will put more pressure on Baltimore, Denver, and NYJ. Also, if we win, I hope that gives the Bengals motivation since they could take the #3 seed from the Patriots. I hope that at least one of Denver or Baltimore loses so that it will come down to literally the last game of the season...
If the Texans win, I will be happy with the winning record. The icing on top will be the playoffs, but I'm not going to fret on it because I don't expect the Broncos, Ravens or Jets to lose. Texans put themselves in this and could have sat players today had they took care of business...it's on them and the KCris Brown duo.
