I think this is more about the timing of the yodel rather than the yodel itself. Another guess......I bet they weren't even praying but it was the best reason to get this Helmut guy to STFU with the random yodeling lol. A yodel doesn't even sound like the Azan, not sure how the judge bought it.
Seriously, who hasn't sued a guy for yodeling at least once in their life? If you haven't then I question your grasp on reality.
Why do they transmit their prayer with loudspeakers? Also, they did not complain about the guy's lawnmowing, which is much louder than the yodeling...they just complained about the yodeling because they felt "disrespected" . Maybe he should have sued for them to stop the molestation through the loudspeaker stuff.
No, I'm from near Bonn originally, and right now I am in New York for a few days. But I know the area...I was best man at a wedding in Celle a few years ago. For some reason, there are a lot of aristocrats in that area...and horses.
It's the muslim neighbors' fault for 1) molesting the neighbors with the prayer sounds through loudspeakers; 2) bringing the frivolous suit. Then it is the judge's fault for making a ridiculous decision.
I can see where yodeling can be confused with an azan... <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bDDEk2AMJAI?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bDDEk2AMJAI?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/HPgq-AazAdE?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/HPgq-AazAdE?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> actually its a little bit closer then i would have imagined, but still. to sue for yodeling?!?!?
