Scoot Henderson looks like better Ja Morant. If I was a betting man, I'd bet on him being the best player in this draft. I get why you take Wemby but part of me hopes we get the #2 pick so we're "forced" to run Scoot/Jalen/Smith. This team needs a real rim runner. Would the Suns entertain trades for Ayton?

    Sengun + a FRP + Garuba?

    Scoot/Jalen/?????/Jabari/Ayton.

Our KPJ replacement. He would change the dynamics of this team instantly.

I'm hoping it will not be under that idiot Silas.

I'd take him for sure but I see a highlight like this and think in the NBA, no way that defender just let's him dunk it. At the very least he's getting fouled and shooting shots.

Would really enjoy a starting line of Henderson-Green-Tate-Smith-and whoever they sign at center

People are just starting to realize that this kids hands look like Kawhi's. He's a different kind of freak. His upside is insane.

I have negative association with G-League cause its a **** league and they don't really teach anything...

    BUT

I'm HUGE Scoot supporter. I would have no problem picking him first, THOUGH that's entirely based on injury and longevity concern - if i can be guaranteed Wemby with no (or very minimal) injuries and at least 10 years near'ish peak performance, i have to take Wemby.

But Scoot would be VERY close.

All that said, i still think we be getting our hopes up on either one...

Intuition tells me Scoot is going to be the best player in the draft for some reason.

Very possible. Especially when you factor in injury concerns for Wemby.

I can definitely see Wemby/Scoot turning out like Zion and Ja (obviously all different players).

Zion/Wemby are/were unlike anything we've seen, but share unusual body types. With Zion, he's clearly incredible when he plays, but he's only played in 41% of the Pels games so far in his career (114/277). If his health was semi-reliable, I'd take him over Ja, but he hasn't been, and availability is the best ability. I know Wemby doesn't have a crazy injury history yet, but the concerns with his body type are legit.

Scoot just has "it." He would be the leader we need on this squad.

I'm just going to leave this here. I absolutely love Scoot and he looks better each time I see his highlights. He is the best player of this class.

Pons is an athletic freak of a SF. Him blowing by Wembanyama like that from the perimeter isn't that big a concern. Maybe Vic should've backed up, but still ... we're talking about a giant trying to guard a super-athletic player. He still was in a position to block that thing, which is still pretty amazing.

That reminds me a bit of what Jordan used to do. Part of his ability to seem so athletic was he had those massive hands that could easily palm the ball. And, no, I'm not saying he's the next Jordan. :D

I'm going to be over the moon if we get either Wemby or Scoot. But there are also a half a dozen other guys I would be excited to add our squad. I like Cam Whitmore and Anthony Black a lot. I also love the Thompson twins but their shooting really concerns me.

Let’s say we get the third pick. I would trade the 3rd pick, Milwaukee pick, the 2024 brooklyn pick 2025 swap 2027 swap, KPJ, Tate, and Garuba for Scoot. I like him better than victor long term. How much would you guys give up?
