Henderson is an interesting player.... he is 6'2" with a 6'9" wingspan and a chiseled body at newly 18 years old.... he has a chance to grow more at such an early age, but my guess is that he won't get much taller based on his build. He isn't ideal height wise but he has the wingspan and body to cause some havoc.

He averaged 14/5/4//2 and gets to the line a lot..... he seems to be more of a combo guard than a natural point guard.... but he is 17, so who knows... and he appears to pass well but is in a league where everything is 1 on 1.

If he were in this draft he would have a good chance of going #1 because some of his advances numbers are VERY promising. He isn't a three point shooter at this point but has good body control and he can hit his free throws.

As regards PGs, I covet free agent Donte DiVincenzo. If we aren't tanking next year, that is.

Scoots a beast man child but i wonder if he peaked physically early? Either way, Wembys skills and physical attributes is too much to pass at #1 for me. Scoot #2. 1 more losing year Rockets fans. That's all i ask. 1 more for a dynasty. It'll be worth it vs 1 year of fighting for a play in and missing it or overachieving and making it only to lose in the 1st round. That's not worth more than Wemby or Scoot.

He looks like a beast and would round out the lineup so nicely!!!!
40 mil in cap-space to fill the rest of the roster

Scratch that.. make it $80 million in capspace!!

I love the spot that we're in. It's about time to say adios to E-Go and fully embrace the youth movement. We're still so incredibly young that winning won't come easy. When looking around the NBA landscape I can easily envision us being right back in the high lotto, and it's an important year to do exactly.

Wemby (excluding injury concerns) and Scoot are better prospects than any of the guys in the last two drafts and that says a lot considering 2021 was stacked!

If TyTy ends up being our PG for the future, then there's no need for this guy. We need to focus on bodies to defend the paint.

Don’t worry we’ll lose a lot of games again this year. Top 3 pick one last time will be nice to officially kick start this thing.

Who gives a sh** about peaking early when that just means he already has the body of a prime player and will likely keep it that way, judging by his work ethic?
Completely removes the questions about adapting to the NBA physically that you have with many rookies.

Meh not seeing it with Scoot Henderson. Of course he is only 17 yrs old so maybe that has a lot to do with it but:

    *17% 3 pt shooter (LOL)
*78% ft shooter (average for a star pg)
    *3.5 ast to 2.5 tos

    On the plus side:
    *he is indeed only 17
*chiseled body and good length for a pg (not freakish though just good)
    *not afraid of contact

Like compare him to Dyson Daniels this year I dunno is he so much better? I guess we will see this season if Scoot has that meteoric rise to his game.

you have throw those %'s in the garbage. you can only really look at them for this year. if they don't improve much yeah i got you. otherwise 17 year old against the players he played is extremely impressive. i believe he is the first player to have done this as well.

I agree thats why I said age is a huge factor cuz really he was a high school junior vs grown ass men.

But I'm just saying as he is right now I dont see the same superstardom I see with Wemby. Like teams got so down on Jady Hardy's %s he fell to 2nd round but they are gonna slobber over Scoot with even worse nos? Theres not a huge gap age wise between Scoot and Jsden just 1-2 yrs thats why Scoot needs to have a meteoric rise in % next year to justify no 2 hype.

Like say he improves to Dyson Daniels level next year. Ok....Dyson is like top 10 pick not top 2. And Dyson is 6'7 while Scoot is 6'3.
