Why does Scoop Jackson remind me of Jerome Solomon at the Chronicle?

This is just a disguised article about racism. Coach's are white, players are black, owners are white.

Yeah you make $40 million, go sit on the bench.

The article sucks because it just repeats the same assertion again and again in different words without going on to support that assertion. OK, Nate hit 41 when he got his chance. That's a good point. Scoop Jackson needs to argue that T-Mac would do the same, that he's in really good form. "Just give him a chance and T-Mac will hit 41." That's all he has to say. Jackson never says T-Mac would improve the Rockets, but stealthily admits the opposite, by letting us "guess" who he is talking about.

T-Mac screwed himself by lightly going into major surgery and not realizing how even NBA "scrubs" are in world-class form, which is not so easy to regain.

Sure -- in 1954 or so.
