I think Paulfjtktk should've demanded his pony and picture from Scola as was logically stated in the club flyer's T&C. Wait what? Just give credit where it's due, Cliff Claven.
Anybody can be at the same club with these athletes but who can get pictures taken with them when they are too busy having fun? Point is chandler felt comfortable to invite paul to scola's birthday bash and introduce him to his teammates which they have no problem showing love. Which in returned took their time from partying with the ladies to take pictures. I don't see everybody from the club that night post pictures of them with the rockets team on the internet if that is all they have to do is be in the same building. If i was a basketball player i wouldn't stop having fun to take a picture with someone who i don't know unless a friend introduce me. Then i wouldn't mind taking picture with them because it's out of respect.
So Sammy got a personal invite from Chandler too? I already gave credit to Paul, twice. He got a verbal/personal invitation, which is the cool thing, but just because no other pictures have popped up doesn't mean no one else could have had access to these guys. The more friendly and social players are, the more likely it is someone can to score a picture or small talk. Most people just dont want to bother them or are too busy partying themselves. Even Paul said he backed off to let them party. Remember, we're not talking about Lebron james or Kobe Bryant. These guys arent too big to mingle with the common folks.
No, I didn't know where their party was gonna be. Actually, it was just a coincidence that they went out that night and Lumen is basically the only decent club to go on Tuesday. Republika used to be the Tuesday night spot. They're sociable players esp Budinger who was supposedly tipsy. I think players that went to college are more sociable. Blake Griffin took a pic with my brother and cousin in LA once. So did Ron Artest that same night. Guys like Kobe, Mcgrady, Amare, Howard probably wouldn't take pics with random dudes at the club.
I think Parsons is a unique guy and one of the most down to earth NBA players. For a guy like him to go to UH without an entourage and talk to random students. Thats frickin awesome. Heck I think most of the Rockets are pretty down to earth. I can see Scola and Courtney Lee mingling with anyone.
Big Baby was there this past summer as well...i think some guys just welcome it more when they aren't instantly recognizable. In Parsons case, he may not welcome it as much after 5 or 6 years in the league.
you forget parsons is a rookie, last year he was in college. He might feel more comfortable hanging around college kids instead of grown men.
