Wait, so how did you get invited? I'm out of the loop here, so I have no idea what thread full of "naysayers" or whatever you're talking about, where I assume you explained all this.
While i still give props to Paul for putting himself out there and getting a direct and personal invitation...my guess is it was pretty much a public event. There wouldn't be any reason for Parsons not to invite random people. In some cases, players get money, or something else, in exchange for drawing more people into a club.

Not hating at all. Like i said, props to him for putting himself out there and bringing us this thread. I'm just letting people know it could happen to them too, if they just keep an eye out for club promotions. Some people want the opportunity and don't know how it's attainable.
LOL celebrities and athletes not gonna go out of their way and invite random people to make a couple of bucks.. Parsons thought Paul was cool or he liked Paul's friend enough that he invited them yeah you can get in the club for sure but not everyone can hangout with them
That's why i said " or something else". An appearance may not generate enough money like it would with a hollywood celeb, but don't you think free booze to party with is enough incentive to give out some verbal invitations? Or promising to surround them with beautiful women all night? Maybe Paul can clarify how exclusive this was, maybe they had limitations in this case, but there's enough opportunity throughout a season to hang out with NBA players and take pics.
Yeah, be like those dudes who followed Yao all the way home to take pics, RV6. It can happen to ANYbody!
You're comparing following a player to his home, private property, uninvited, to attending a public and advertised event hosted by one?
