No man from Argentina should ever when the sportsmanship award. Scola should be ashamed of himself. The football team is shaking their heads. While they roll around on the ground acting like they just got shot. When they barely got tapped on the ankle.

Maybe because the people who decide these sorts of things know that there is in fact a difference between a charge and a flop....something some people around here obviously don't.

Is this the only award that the rockets win this season?

way to quote me out of context...

if watch any rockets game u should know that scola plays extremely physical that its almost on the borderline of "dirty". hence why i add the "/physical" after "dirty"

im not saying this is a problem, in fact i love how scola plays... i just find it funny how scola ended up with this sportsmanship award when most players in the nba dont really like him that much (ie ariza b4 joining the rockets)

    NBA Divisional Sportsmanship Winners

Probably shouldn't get too excited about this one, it only qualifies him for a shot at winning the overall award at the end of the season.

Walter J Kennedy Citizenship Award? I'm not sure if that's what you mean, but I keep hearing it all the time on my NBA Live.

What are the criteria for a Sportsmanship Award?

Do they count the number of times a player helps an opponent get up? Or how many opponents' hands a player shakes after a game?

I love Scola but some of those charges he is taking are definately flops. A guy Scola's size doesn't fall to the ground and slide 10 feet when someone brushes up against him.

That said there are so many floppers these days that flopping is no longer a criteria for bad sportsmanship.

Or Maybe because the people who decide these sorts of things haven't seen Rockets play at all (no game on National TV so far), instead they look at things like number of technical fouls, fouls taken etc.
