Matt Barnes elbowed him. Courtney Lee was about to pummel that stupid b**** into the ground. Hell, if we still had Ariza he would have swung for the fences and nailed that mother****er. Ron Artest might've just shoved, but Ariza... if you get him mad he gets pissed.

Yeah, nowhere in the video do I see any sign that Luis intentionally tripped or hit Rudy... Looks like their feet both just got tangled.

Scola might flop a lot, but he's not an aggressor.

The NBA has suspended Memphis' Rudy Gay one game for Saturday's flagrant foul on Houston's Luis Scola.

I think it was a good move that nobody went out there to cause trouble. Firstly, any slight reaction might provoke the refs to issue penalties to the rockets. If that elevates to something more serious and a rockets play gets suspended, then that would hurt the team even more. Secondly, I'm sure scola doesn't mind bc he's tough and he prob knows that the team is behind him. Thirdly, if we were to let someone storm the court and defend scola I'd say we should let a benchwarmer go so that a suspension doesn't significantly hurt us...like unleashing the physical fury of jeffries

Lowry is one guy I would think would bring a little toughness and replace what Skip gave us, but he is actually the most blatant offender. Notice whenever any kind of altercation or dustup happens with any of our players, Lowry is the one who reacts like the biggest B@#@. Chuck needs to step up and play that enforcer role, since god knows he doesn't do much else these days.

Agreed! Why would anyone go against his own teammate like this?! There's absolutely no plausible reason. It's one thing to not back a teammate but it's a completely different situation to say ur teamamte is wrong. If lowry is telling the refs that scola flopped. He might as well push him down himself

I was just gonna mention this. It was the last game we played against the Lakers I believe and Matt Barnes had did something to Chase (I think he pushed him in the back or got rough with him). And Courtney came over and shoved Matt. I'm surprised the refs didn't notice it. But I thought it was good that he was looking out for his teammate.
