^^^ J Howard in the middle of that scrum just like he was when Joel Anthony got thrown to floor.

Yeah because there's NEVER been a case where one tech leads to an opposing tech and so on, until both guys get ejected....

Like others have mentioned, most of the rockets, if not all, probably didnt even see what happened. And unless you kept an eye on Gay dpown the court, it just looked like a hard pick. Add the fact that Scola has a habit of ending up on the floor, that makes it difficult to tell whether it was really a flagarant by Gay or just a hard foul with scola flopping.

The Rockets aren't a team known to get many technicals, so there would be know worry for things to get out of hand. Hell, even if it did it would just make the bond in the locker room stronger.

And I call Bullsh!t on not recognizing if it was a blatant foul. You had a couple of players on the Rockets bench point and react to it happen. I don't know what it is with this team, we just are p***y's when it comes for sticking up for each other on the court.

kyle woudn't do anything esp to rudy gay. at the end of the day, lowry and rudy are good friends and he and scola are just teammates. Everyone on the roster seems to calm though, like they don't really care. That's actually whats troublesome.

Does this look like a teammate who would just look the other way?

I think Kyle and Scola are friends, just not as close as Rudy and Lowry are. The latter two probably grew up and knew each other from basketball camp, as well as their time on memphis.

This vid is kinda what i'm talking about.. Raja Bell goes for the shot and Stackhouse jumps into Bell. It looked unintentional but STEVE NASH told Stackhouse something. Nash didn't get rowdy or physical, he was probably like, "chill out with that weak ****".

I dont see how these guys can be better friends. I think they'd actually tell each other not to do something like that. We may think they should, hell i'm actually the type of guy to do in pick up games, but the bottom line is we're not the ones out there, so it doesnt matter how we'd feel about someone doing something or not doing it. I can't see not one of these guys complaining because a teammate didn't come to their rescue, unless they're literally being punched or something severe. This isn't worth it to them, the gam is over. Plus it's rudy gay, the guy doesnt have a bad rep and they all know Lowry is cool with him. Fans react based on emotion and put themselves in the players' shoes. I'm putting myself in their shoes and trying to figure out why they'd handle it that way.

And Im not talking about the bench. The bench can't do anything, or shouldn't, they'll get suspended for coming on the court.

LMAO!!! Artest goes right to Yao's defense, and the teammate that has played with Yao longer (Brooks) sneaks away. Don't get me wrong, I love Brooks, but that was a complete p***y move.

Honestly, Scola falls down so much during the game that I don't think his teammates can tell if he's flopping or if he really got hit.

When Gay hit Scola I wasn't upset, because Scola probably deserved it. His flopping must annoy the hell out of opponents.

Plus it's Rudy Gay. This guy isn't a loose cannon...he's a class act.

Scola more than likely deserved that.

Yeah, but this isn't just today, it goes way back. Like when Fisher shoved Scola to the ground and Lowry just pointed like a dumbass. You could say "well its the playoffs, no need getting anything escalated" blah blah blah. Thats the point it is the playoffs!!! You have to show emotion. Not too much emotion to get you ejected or suspended, but you have to at least stick up for your guy, that's all I'm sayin..

This friendship between Lowry and Gay definitely holds true.

I'm not sure if any of you noticed, but Rudy Gay was hovering around the scorers table before the refs sent him to the bench to review the call. At this time, Lowry had actually put his arm around Gay in a friendly manner as best buds would do.

Instead of discussing the situation in a serious manner about the unnecessary physicality towards his teammates, kyle was expressing a high level of kinship and was all buddy buddy and smiles with gay, as if everything was fine.

This I did indeed notice. Lowry was talking to him with his face real close, kinda asking "what'd you do that for dude?"

holy**** I loved that team. Talk about a team with balls. They should have been a lot better but it wasn't their fault.
