I'm very glad that Luis made it to the the NBA All-Rookie First team. I'm also glad that Landry made the second team. They both deserve it. Nice to see Brooks get some consideration too.
    GO ROCKETS!

one gm (besides Seattle) didn't think durant was 1st team material? wow...

congrats on scola and landry, though landry could have been first if it wasn't for his "late" surgence and injury.

what is so good about juan carlos navvaro? he sucks. nick young from washington deserved 2nd team more than him.

For someone who plays with so much passion on every play, It's amazing how durable he is. Our doctors need to Take a sample of his blood and inject it into the bloodstreams of every player on the roster.

Well deserved by all the Rockets rookies. Morey is the man. And imagine these guys will only get better next year.

(Nice job by Horford too! Go Gators!)

I hope Morey gets another gem this year in the draft. I've learned that he knows WAY more than us considering we all hated the Landry and Brooks picks. :D

Lol did you guys realize we actually had 2 steals? Scola was a steal from the spurs for absolutely nothing. Carl landry was stolen from the sonics for a second round pick. 2 steals in one pre season, I am so excited about next season.

we're gonna have to trade one of them to get a 3rd scorer.

Luther was an All Rookie 2nd teamer coming from an injury-plagued, lottery Rocket team. Landry and Scola made the team worth watching even when Yao went down.

Is it weird that Novak still seem like a rook to me?

Can't make that argument, because Head also made the sophomore and rookie team. I'm also not sure we would have even drafted Landry had we known for sure that we would have gotten Scola. That worked out pretty well.

If I had to pick one to keep of the two, it'd be Scola. Sure he's older, but after our last few seasons, durability might be more valuable to us.

FWIW, Landry does have a history of injuries. Who knows if it is a pattern or not, but also his size will only increasingly limit his effectiveness as he gets older.

If he does go in a trade, it had better be for a superior player. He brings a lot to the table and is one of the few players that gets us out of our seat.

I would've loved to see one of his double pump slams in the Utah series. Nothing gets the team or fans up like those.
