He has been our only consistent scorer this whole season and I don't see why the Rockets' don't give the ball to him EVERY single possession. No one can stop him on the block 1v1. And if they come double team, he is a decent passer out of the post which translates to open shots. There is absolutely no negative in giving the ball to Scola every single possession.
This time last season Ariza was are leading scorer and we got rid of him. So it wouldn't suprised me if Morey trades Scola for a bag of chips by the deadline to partner up with Lee. If we trade Scola since many here on cfans think we should, it would be clear that this organization doesn't know what the hell they are doing.

I don't think he is quite as good as you're making him out to be. He is not like a healthy Yao who dominates one-on-one almost every time and draws double teams.
So with a banged up Yao, Brooks, or Martin as our #1 scoring option...you would expect a championship? No one is expecting a championship this season. Scola is our most consistent and efficient scorer. And will set up our shooters will open shots everytime he is doubled team.
For now he can be that option. With Brooks and KM in the back court and Scola and hopefully Yao inside we have a lot of scoring taking been the number 1 option. But for now he can be that option especially in the pain.
If Scola is the option#1, that means the Rockets are out of options. He should be #2 or #3 option. With Scola, full of energy, but size limited him in the paint.
