    Nice to hear from Scola, but we pretty much knew what was up; either all-in for Dwight or all young team with high picks the next few years.

    Hate to see him go this way tho.

    Watch all the haters that were screaming for Morey to tank will be callin him out now for letting a player like Scola go for nothing.

    Totally disagree with you. We now have a direction. IMO, it will be fun watching these young guys develop, hopefully adding superior talent with each draft, eventually becoming a team with enough talent to be a contender for years to come. Don't mind the losing at all for the next 3 years if it should come to pass.

    Exactly.

    "Honey, over the next 3-4 years, you're going to be in your prime. Look at me -- I'm a mess! So for your own good, I, um, got with a bunch of other hot young power forwards. It started platonic, but you know, it summer, things happen. So I am breaking up with you. It's all because I'm a mess though -- you're awesome!"

    Hummm...
    Asik deal = 3 years
    Lin = 3 years
    Dragic = no deal as he insisted on 4th year player option
    Now this...... Time to check the FA class of 2015?

    Poor scola. He left a super mediocre team to go to an even more mediocre team.

    He was using double negatives. He's telling us the Rockets are going to be EVERYTHING for the next 3-4 years!

    I think it will be Howard and tank.

    If the Rockets trade for Howard, there is a strong possibility they will still have a terrible record this next year. Howard and his gimpy back may not be ready to play at the beginning of the season. Who knows how many games he actually plays? Even if Howard is ready to play, his supporting cast is likely to be numerous young players and Orlando scrubs. After Howard signs his next contract the Rockets can then go after the talent to make them a playoff team.
