Luis was awesome!!!!!!!!! Ill have pics whenever my sis sends them to me. I asked him what he thought about the trade and he just shrugged. Guess he cant comment about it. I told him im gonna miss Carl "the tooth fairy" Landry. He chuckled and said yea. Didnt talk long cause there was a bit of a line. I told him to check out clutchfans.net sometime and he said ok. That is all.
I did the same thing, got out of the Brooks session by 3:30, was at Sports Clips by 4, had both autographs in hand by 4:15. Now I just have to frame my Scola jersey and get a case for my Brooks basketball!
I went to both as well. There was absolutely no one there (around 4:45). I chatted with Luis for about 5 minutes and managed to get a little more out of him than you guys seemed to. I mentioned that I had been to Aaron's signing earlier and Luis seemed surprised and asked about it. I told him about how Carl was supposed to be there, but obviously couldn't because of the trade. This kind of naturally segued into a short discussion about Carl leaving. Luis actually seemed pretty saddened by it all. He told me about how it didn't seem like long ago they were taking this picture: Spoiler He said that the three of them did spend a good amount of time together and wouldn't be able to do that anymore. Got a picture with him, thanked him for his time and the conversation, and wished him luck for the rest of the season. Overall, he came across as a very sociable and friendly guy. Definitely another highlight for me after my honorary captaincy last month!
I don't normally go to autograph things, but my girlfriend is a fan of the team and Luis, so I got a photo I took for her a while back signed since she's out of town this weekend. Seems like a nice guy. Very quiet.
