There was a thread a while back about Luis Scola getting his hair cut at the Sports Clips in Sawyer Heights (1911 Taylor Street) at the end of January. Well it looks like the poster was just off by a couple of weeks. I just went and got my haircut their and they have signs up saying he'll be signing autographs and taking photos on Friday, February 19 from 4 -6. The woman giving me my haircut said they'd be cutting his hair then too...I guess we'll see. Anyways, I just wanted to pass this on to all of you.
i think all it means is that he'll be polishing up the long locks, not cutting it off. If i remember correctly he was asked about it durign No Layups and he said he wasnt cutting it. I think if the date was just wrong he would have said that.
Could make it easier to cancel the event if he's traded. Last thing they'd want is for him to cancel because of a trade the day or even hours before the event.
Luis will probably get the dead ends trimmed off, that's all. I like his long hair. Of course, I used to have far longer hair myself (back when I had hair! ).
Normally I would say most guys probably look better with shorter hair. Plus it's certainly easier to deal with. But Scola is one of those guys that I think probably looks better with his long hair.
Does anybody if this is true? Cause that is the same day Carl Landry is signing autographs at Capital University Branch Capital One Bank. It would be awesome to meet both on the same day.
They're forcing you to decide. Morey won't trade whoever gets the most fans. :grin: He's doing the same thing with Brooks/Lowry the next day.
I guess you all missed the point...I don't really care about the haircut. I was just tell you all about when/where he would be doing autographs and I just threw in the tidbit about the haircut.
Supposedly, Daryl Morey will be doing an autograph session as well over at "Fades and Braids" on Antoine, near 249.
