So are you suggesting by not being with the newborn on the first day result in accidental auto death later on in life? lol
This new Scola though is a US citizen by virtue of birth, so we will at least have one of them with the US team. Man, that Argentine team would really be something with three Scola's playing.
Kobe is the last and the worst example you can use when it comes to family and responsibilities as a family man. Kobe and family do not really jive. Have you heard of Colorado? You have some freudian issues that you need to address. Maybe you may want to use more of your time to good use by seeing a professional who can help you deal with your issues rather than spend them here at CF.
It's not just Kobe, every key players, so don't use Kobe's previous problem as an excuse. Think ahead before you write anything reasonable.
So go ahead and think reasonable, who else can you name as an example? As far as I read so far, you only mentioned Kobe's name so when I threw him back to you I am unreasonable? Just take care of your issues will you? You have a serious problem and you need help.
You don't even know what you're talking about. Do you know what "any player" mean? Any key player! Duncan for example, would he skip a Playoffs game?? Nah, don't think so. Dwade, would he skip a Playoffs game? Nah, don't think so. So just because I picked Kobe, does not mean you can look at his past and make excuse that he had a problem and therefore reasonable to skip a Playoffs game. This is what I mean think reasonable....and it's what i mean think before you write. If i have problem, i would not have rely on someone that think unreasonable and don't even know what you're saying.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7246162.html Perhaps the reason why he felt compelled to fly back in addition to just wanting to be with his new child as soon as possible.
You're a sad man....obviously you don't comprehend what I was saying...you said that you can always have time with people later and that they don't disappear....well my buddy who lost his family....he never said he wished he worked more hours, he said he wished he had more time to spend with his family and that he took them for granted....obviously you're a broken person to joke about stuff like that....I've always been told you can't fix stupid, so no use in trying...
Oh i know fully what you're saying. Perhaps you don't comprehend what you're writing lol. Being away from family a long time definitely not a good thing...that's not my point.
haha this fool here. Your right he's a buster for missing practice err I mean preseason . Congrats Scola! glad he made it home enjoying his newborn and resting. That's what Scola needs.
Feigan reports the kid was born several weeks premature. Thus answering the question why he went to China in the first place-- wasn't expecting the birth during the trip.
This is silly because you are making a bunch of assumptions on how players would act lol. Remember Fisher and his daughter? She was having cancer treatment done on her back in New York while in the playoffs. I don't remember if he missed a game, but I definitely remember that he was late and didn't come in till the second half of one of the Jazz games. Vince Carter missed a game in the Eastern Conference Finals to be go to his graduation, granted this wasn't family related however it shows how there are far more important things in life than working. Leandro Barbosa missed some of the season when his Mother had a terrible condition and was close to dying. I remember he flew back from Brazil only to find out that his mother had passed and once again he went back to Brazil. My point is that family is definitely more important than any job you might do. Regarding Scola, whether the baby was premature or not (which in this case it is) there are still several risks when a mother is delivering, so please don't give me this bs that it is not important since it is his fourth kid. I'm sorry that you don't seem to value family as much as other, but some people actually do and you have no right to call them out on it.
