Dude, I hope you're single and not married or without kids....if so your wife and/or kids are going to have some serious issues....i understand work is important, but it's a preseason game with no bearing on the regular season and besides we already know what scola brings to the table in terms of production....any decent human being would put family first....
Work is not important..... No one is laying on their deathbed going, man, I wish I would have worked a bit harder.... DD
I think it's a really good thing for him to miss 2 games. Hes been playing all year long and needs a rest. Hopefully this will give him a couple extra days he can try to relax and get his legs under him for the grueling NBA season. I think after it's set and done, he's going to be the most relied on player on the Rockets team this year. He was Mr. Consistent last year, and expect the same from him this year.
One more to go and he'll have a complete team. He flew back to the states? I suppose his kid will be an American citizen now. Should have had the child in CHina, so when he grows up and plays basketball he can get all that CHinese money.
Not going to miss out anything. You can always be with them later on...it's not like they're going to disappear...but whatever.
Its a blessing in disguise...Scola was saying he was really tired from the Worlds. Hopefully he gets good rest while enjoying the company of his family.
Can you imagine having 4 luis scolas on a team?? wow 20 years from now.. Oh and Scola does need a daughter. She would love to play with his hair.
Jesus there are a lot of mad people on here. In some cultures, doing well at your job is "putting your family first" since it means you get to feed them... JUST SAYING. For me, I'm just sitting here trying to imagine the Argentine team in 16 years with 4 Scolas on it at the same time.
