bill walton doesnt even talk about basketball now. all tourny all he does is talk about stupid facts and the environment. oh and amare shooting 3 pointers.
Hm...... but we still have to see him play a game in the NBA!!! I mean, one game against USA stars is not indicative of his ability to play in the NAB right?
I watching the game on the FIBA live game scores thing, could anybyody who's watching the game tell me how active is Scola against the USA?
Bill Walton's commentary has improved leaps and bounds over the years. He just may be the top guy now, at least the most interesting.
At the very least, we have someone that can finish layups. I think t-mac would love playing with Scola. As active as Hayes is cutting to the basket after a screen, Scola is leagues above him in terms of off the ball movement.
3rd best player in FIBA??? He is playing against All Stars here man. He can definitely be the ROCKET'S third best player.
1. Which is why I have problem with people (esp. in the media) saying that they are the best centers in the league? If Scola is having his way with them (being an All-Star like team) imagine how bad they'll be against the Rockets when Scola is paired with Yao? 2. Amare for his great offense, athletism...he shouldn't been voted to first team all-nba that could've gave to another foward or guard or gave it to Yao. As much as people want to criticize Yao for his lack of athleticism and stamna....at least 7 ft 5 inch man can play same dam* defense...Yao doesn't let below average centers and even good centers make it seem like he's not there. This just proves people like Skip Bayless, Steven A. Jackson, and other Yao haters are idiots....when they don't mention among the best centers in league. 3. As much as people want criticize Yao's performance in the first round compared to that of Howard....Yao played like Wilt Chamberlain...Yao got his sack of **** for a team to a game 7 against Jazz team....while Howard's got swept by a team in the East...and all while he gave below average performances compared to regular season.
