Very excited about seeing this game and see how Scola plays against some real competition. Of course I think he'll play pretty well since he'll be in his "element", but I'll be watching closely to his game. I remember watching Vspan play in the tourney and getting excited for him too, just hope Scola doesn't turn out the same way.

I don't see Scola having a great game because:

    1. The game is irrelevant for Argentina since they are already qualified for the semis.

    2. Since the Argentine team is lacking many of its offensive threats, he will be double teammed a lot.

We cannot judge Scola or any other NBA player based on one game.

Remember Spanoulis? He played out of his mind last year and single-handedly won the game against team USA. I was rooting AGAINST our team because i was sooo excited when i saw V-Span dominated our PGs.

we all know how that turned out

    yea...just keep telling yourself that

physical skills mean NOTHING if you dont have the mental aptitude to succeed

The only person that kept Mr Spanolious from succeeding was Mr Spanolious.

but hey...dont let a little thing like facts get in your way.

Good grief, let's not hijack/destroy yet another thread with the Vspan garbage.

I am not going to judge Scola based on this one game, but it will be fun to watch him go up against guys he'll be playing against next season.

man, don't waste your time watching the football game. only jv players will be in the game and none of them will make much of an impact in the regular season, other than maybe special teams.

i wish argentina had their full arsenal, but i guess we can wait until the olympics for this head to head competitions.

Its really, much like preseason football, just to see how Scola plays against NBA players he will face this year. I realize this game may not mean much, and he may Vspan-out, but I can only hope for the best and finally see for myself what kind of player we are getting.

Only wish I could see those scrubs play for the Texans too and experience the greatest day EVER!!

should be a good game was impressed on how scola found ways to score even though he didnt get too much of his FGs to go in. he got the bigs in foul trouble and took advantage of it by hitting a good portion of his FTs. i am excited to see how he fares against some of the same stars he'll face in the nba.
