"Macpussy" is quite possibly the stupidest, most weaksauce nickname I have ever seen. Seriously. If you're going to hate blindly, at least make SOME attempt to be creative so as to hide your idiocy. ... But kudos for putting the lame name in the bold and big font. That added a lot to the effect and managed to hide some of the lameness. I'm sure the text size alone was enough to convince some people that we should trade McGrady. You definitely were not just trying to w**** ATTENTION. Nope, the larger font size was absolutely necessary.
Actually I have done that before. playing some pick up games i dislocated my middle finger at the first knuckle on my right hand. i looked down and it was bent upward and hurt like hell. but a gentle grip, tug and slide it back into place. hurt like a son of a gun but i kept playing.
I had that happen to my pinkie finger in high school football practice. It doesn't hurt as much as you'd think.
Dislocated the main joint of the pinky finger on my left hand a couple years back. Bent back 90 degrees. Was kind of in shock, but the natural thing was to just pop it back in place. It snapped back pretty easily. Still finished out the game. Even now, it's not completely straight and still hurts a bit if I hit it wrong.
maybe its just me, but what im seeing is Scola infecting Yao's paint moves. Of course Yao had already racked up plenty of YouTube mixes of his own moves, but I think Scola is an fresh-breath, consistent, active reminder of how effective head-fakes, pauses, and such can be. scola kinda helps yao manifest that part of yao's game more. craftiness. cause as soon as yao even hints of going up, youre going to have any and all opponents in the vicinity flying to the glass. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=280209010 look at the great fake/pause yao did in that espn highlight reel. --------------------------------------------------------------------- continuing on Scola... How fricken nice is it to have such a talented PF in the low post again?!?! Cato sure as heck couldnt beat his man to the post, then get the ball and craft his way to a basket. Juwan Howard made me cringe and yell at the TV after his 1st post-up dribble: "NOOOOOOOOO JUWAN DONT DO IT!" His post-up play was horrendous. Chuck cant handle and cant nearly finish lay up like Scola (although chuck's gotten better via being a recipient of tmac's assists)
This is the thing about Argentinean player. You absolutely hate it when other team has one. You absolutely love it when get one of your own.
I had my shoulder dislocated a couple of times and honestly, it really didn't hurt much at all. Seriously. I've had toothaches that were worse. I later had surgery after the second (pain free) dislocation and the doctor told me that the tendon had completely severed (which apparently is rare). I think the lack of pain was because of this. There was no partially torn tendon still under tension to cause pain. But the point really is that I have personal experience that sometimes a dislocated joint doesn't hurt.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=280209010 quote on quote"Late in the third quarter, Scola appeared to jam a finger on his left hand when Childress swatted the ball out of his hands. Scola went to the bench, grimacing in pain and did not return." i thought i saw Scola smiling at Mutombo after the dislocation.... wow, ESPN sure knows how to BS...
Playing softball, bent my left pointy finger 45 degrees to the left diving for an outfield catch. Was wearing a batting glove over it but even with it on could tell it wasnt straight. Maybe not the absolute worst pain I've ever felt but it still hurt PLENTY bad. If I saw my actual uncovered finger it'da probably felt more painful. I popped it back in place out of instinctual reaction, and kept playing cuz we were only playing with the minimum # of players.. Thats when I learned its not really worth it giving Super Bowl type effort in recreational sports and to start thinking about benefits when I looked for jobs
