i agree but ofter he was left open in the paint real deep- but no pass from rafer or head. mayb they are not used to his skillset, but i think that will change real quick
If Scola can play like this 70% of the time when TMAC come back in a game or two, I have no worries about last few games at all.
get used to these kind of games from Scola. I guess he knocks down that 18 footer when he doesn't hesitate when he shoots it.
Now Coach 'A' must learn to use him correctly and expect him to have plays for him to score on. Ps what happened to Bonzi in the second half?
Did you see how he moved in screens and got easy open shots? Scola was beautiful tonight. Tracy's injury was a blessing in disguise.
First, let's not deny that Duncan had a great game. But those stats did not say a thing about how he played Yao. When Yao was put on him on the 2nd half, Duncan did not do much!
Scola showed what he can do. The fact that it was against San Antonio makes it much sweeter. Scola will come along nicely, he is a needed and welcomed addition to this team. Now if we could somehow get decent production from the PG position (Im looking at you Francis and Brooks) this team would be unstoppable.
The scoring was nice, but he's not going to shoot 10 for 11 very often. He needs to be able to contribute to the team when he's not hitting those shots as well.
Way to go, Scola! Hope he can build his confidence on this game and go from there. (Somehow I feel that the presence of TMac on the court gives Scola tremendous pressure. Anybody has the same feelings?)
Talk about watching the game. Did you watch the game or just the boxscore? He meant when Yao defended Duncan, Yao gave him trouble. Fortunately for Dunhead, he was guarded by Hayes most of the game. Dunkhead abused Hayes, but Scola played him better, and Yao practically stopped him all the time. I blamed Rick for not putting Yao on Dunkhead more. Notice Yao's 3 blocks? That's again Dunkhead.
great gaem scola..PLZ play like this every game from now on plz damit! the 1st time i bench Scola on my fantasy team he drops 20 pts. aint that a b!tch
