please quote me on this .... BOSH WILL GET INJURED NEXT YEAR. Scola is very durable and produced all-star numbers when he got starters minutes last year and he wont bog down our spending for the next 6 years. Trust me, we dodged a bullet with this one.
I agree with the length, but youth isn't a factor, Bosh has been in the NBA 4 yrs longer than Scola, that takes a huge toll on your body.
Most of the people that are saying Scola >>>>>>> Bosh were probably the ones begging for Bosh to come here a few days ago.

Don't quote me on this: FIBA basketball most likely doesn't have the intense 82 game seasons that the NBA has. Four years of that can have major wear on your body for the future.

Lot's of denial on the GARM today. Scola is not better than Bosh but he's good and ours. We still need an upgrade with length.
um, firstly, how do you know i wanted bosh? i just wrote in the general "we" as in the vast majority of clutchfans. secondly, even if i thought bosh was a good free agent signing (something i was never convinced of) what is wrong with giving scola the credit he deserves? is he better than bosh? probably not. could he be a better fit and more valuable piece to this team? absolutely that makes sense.
never said he was better. but the fact is, scola is a damn good PF. if only he was 5 years younger and 2 inches taller, he would be the black chris bosh.
I'm perfectly fine with Scola as our starting PF next year. Sure, Bosh would have been nice but we'll do well.
The answer is obivous but i'll be a homer and say this... Scola is the cool kid in school who really doesn't need to anything to be noticed and pretty much liked by all while Bosh seems like the kind of guy who has self-esteem issues and needs to draw attention to himself by being the sidekick of the cool guy.
