Rereading the sentence, it's not very clear, but I think you can be right and he's actually referring to a league change.

I'm from Spain, but in Argentina they speak a little bit different (like it is also different in Paraguay, Chile, Puerto Rico...). Different accent and sometimes a different vocabulary usage.

You know, I went back and re-read that again. I'm sorta leaning towards your interpretation now. I respect this guy a lot and hope the Rockets do right by him.

Scola will be a Rocket... He is Morey's type of player.

This thing is sure, if Scola is traded at some point, it will be for a major upgrade in talent.

Scola would not be given away. He is efficient, has a reasonable contract, has borderline NBA level talent.

Im from argentina. Your interpretation is ok. He dosent know what he will do if he becomes a 15 min kind of player. Would he keep playing on the nba or go to another league and be a 30 min guy again. Thats what he meant from that.

Sorry but he didnt say that, He says he would never change a ring for an all star selection , or for 10 all star selection. Talk about ultimate team player and winner.

You're right, I missed the "ten" he said before all-star and thought he meant all-star for a ring.

Thanks for the post. I too hope Scola retires as a Rockets player. He might be more valuable now that McHale is the coach, i think McHale appreciates his kinda game and hopefully he can teach Scola more tricks in the bag.
