Who else was scared Shi@#less when they read this lol... My brain took awhile to process that one sentence. hahaha.
That's the luxury that we have for having 2 wingman defenders. I think we should have given Roy different looks more often as a change of pace. Artests physicality and gambling vs Shane's heady play and tenacious hand in your face defense being switched back and forth on Roy all game is the most effective way to keep him off balance throughout the game. As far as a flopper list, I didn't know there was such a "list"? Is there anyway to see who else is on it?
I sometimes wonder if Richard Justice actually has sources when he says things like this. I don't really think it's true and I think as long as Jerry Sloan is coaching in this league, the flopping will never stop. Scola does need to stop with the flopping though, it's getting a little ridiculous.
Its been like that the whole season, but him bumping Roy probably effects him somewhat. I rather have him guarding Roy than Ron, Ron stop gambling and relying on Yao to get a block.
Artest on Roy is a good game plan to me. Shane is a much better team defender, he can cover whatever defensive mistakes our players make. At the same time, I think Ron also did a better job defending Roy 1on1 than Shane did last game. A few times battier rotated on Roy, he was beaten pretty easy.
The answer is that Ron was mostly picked off by another offensive player. Hopefully Coach A has recognised this and has corrceted this, by a counter move.
Why does the league need to label floppers? If they have that in their minds, they may not call the real fouls. I'm calling bull**** on this one.
I was from Richard Justice talk from the radio 1560. I heard it, and post it. I do not think it is a big deal if it is true or not, we know that Scola is going to play hard, and we will win this series.
No, we can't admit that b/c I don't think its true. He may not be the lock down stopper he was in Indiana, but he is still elite. Roy did drive some on him, but he also stopped his drive a good number of times and forced him to spots where our bigs were waiting. I will take the job Ron did on Roy for the rest of the series right now if I could call it.
AND every jazz player that has EVER played just for good measure in the event that any of them return from retirement!
It is the international style of play isn't it? All the international players do it, AK, Dirk, etc...
Chris Paul definitely needs to be on that list. There was a flop he did last night that reminded me of the fainting goats...he stiffened up and landed on his sided. I laughed out loud when I saw that cause he usually twists with his arms in the air and rolls on the floor like he's on fire. I guess he's trying new moves.
