Both. I suspect I'm the only Singaporean on this board.. well, the only one that doesn't lurk anyway. I myself lurked for four years

 

that's great. seems like that would be a great place to visit.

 

Well.. it's alright. No different from any urbanised city state really. There are nicer places to visit in South-east Asia. I remember arno_ed wanted to visit Thailand, but didn't seem too keen on dropping by Singapore

 

I was in Singapore in 1994 on business, missed the whole dang Portland - Houston series and got to see news of the Mothers Day collapse to Phoenix on CNN International. Singapore was a cool place. Cleanest city I have ever seen in my life. There wasn't much to watch on TV though. I was also there when the Singapore government caned that American teenager.
