This is more on a psychological level for these teachers... I'm guessing she didn't have that whole glory of High school years when she went to school.. Probably had the personality of a door knob.. Now that she's a teacher she gets to act out her fantasy...

 

Damn. Sucks if the kid is his....but damn. At that age, that "relationship" is a dream come true.


I was weary when I clicked on this thread, I didn't know too many hot lady science teachers. I was expecting a WTF thread with a dude....

 

When I was in High school we never had 25 year old teachers and coaches...

 

How many of these stories consist of female student and male teacher? From what I remember, the majority of these stories is always male student and female teacher. Are the female student, not snitching?

 

My school had a male coach with a female student, female science teacher with a student, and a gay male security guard with a male student.

 

My WTF reaction was male football athlete and male science teacher. a big...Oh Noez....

As for a female student, my basketball coach in my high school left the school because a student he was having a relationship with was blackmailing him because she was getting jealous when the teacher stopped pursuing her.

I don't think he got in trouble for anything, the school let him go before it escalated. (private high school in Europe).

 

Yes, but they still pay a secretary's salary and force you to deal with children all day, so maybe sometimes districts have to take what they can get. Are all the male students black? Is that where the extra appeal/curiousity comes from?

Teachers are getting younger and younger.

I know a lot of girls that were 22-23 when they started teaching middle school and high school age kids.

Not even subbing, but literally teaching full time.

That is far too young, for a lot of reasons.

Teachers are overworked, underpaid, undersexed and stuck in a profession that is so female dominated it's not really any wonder this keeps happening.

I don't really mind teachers banging kids as a morality issue (lol, morals), what bothers me more is the fact that I'd be willing to guess that a teacher willing/desiring to have sex with her students probably isn't, for one reason or another, a very effective teacher.

Fix the qualifications, job requirements, and compensation for teachers and watch this problem go away on its own.

Thats my thought on it. They leave high school, but there's still a little high schooly attachment part in them lying dormant that comes out when they're reintroduced back into that environment.

Then there's the "Wooderson" approach....

Every adult looked old when I was 15. Thinking back on it, a few of my teachers were under 30. Most of them already married though.

 

How can it not be a morality issue on the HIGH school level? Especially when its dealing with minors. I can't think of many other professions where relationships should be more prohibited.

Teachers are supposed to instruct the young minds on the ways of the world and make them reach their potential, by making the kid become a PARENT with THEIR baby? Safe to say this is a major example of crossing the line that shows why teacher-student relationships are taboo.

Actually I think high school culture as a whole is much too glorified. Way too much Hollywood treatment. Popularity and fashion contests are much too superficial to mean much in later life, yet those are the biggest distractions to students. And they're obviously even starting to be distractions to TEACHERS. I understand that high school might be the most meaningful time in someone's life when they can "be somebody", but if it where up to me - school uniforms K thru 12

Statutory rape is real funny guys. Seriously, it sounds cool and all, but she took advantage of this kid. This will adversely affect future romantic relationships of his. It's just not emotionally healthy.
