The speed of light constraint only applies to objects within our universe's space-time. The boundaries of the universe are simply space without the time component thus it likely is expanding faster than light speed. Keep in mind it's hard for us humans to comprehend the expansion of the universe. It's not exploding or going outward like we'd normally think. Imagine we live in a balloon and someone is blowing it up very quickly.
This is not really true, on several levels. It hasn't been thought true since the theory of relativity in the '20s. Conservation of energy is really now just a construct to teach people the basics of physics. Get's a WHOLE lot more complicated after PHYS 101/102. For instance, there is such a theory as negative energy. So, the math to add up all the energy can be zero, or near zero at the start. But the main point, as both B-Bob and dmc89 just said, these so-called laws such as the speed of light and conservation of energy rely on the constraint of time invariance. Meaning: if the space of the universe never changes, this is true. But if it expands with time (time variant) it can change, and does. And the article in the OP is another research finding that proves this.
The entire field of science is dedicated to explaining God's actions thousands of years behind Him... yet many scientists fashion themselves as "too smart for God." Oh the foolish worldly arrogance.
I have no idea what you are saying, but some of the most influential scientists are deeply religious. You can cherry pick views that help bolster a persecution complex but that doesn't make your take any more valid or persuasive outside your own narrow circle. You should really consider some Einstein and Planck essays covering the interaction of religion and science if you really care. Also the work of Charles Townes, the man who pioneered the laser. But if you just want to dismiss people who have a slightly different take from you, you could go back to D&D. Believe me, I know from former experience.
And here I always thought the Bing Bang proves the existence of God. In fact, there are some top physicists right now who didn't think this OP's proof could be true, becuase "it's too simple and fixes too many questions as if God breathed into the universe at some critical trillionth of a second in its beginning"
God forbid he kept his mouth shut in the name of god. I can't live in a world where the earth isn't the center of the universe. Keep in mind this kind of thinking was hardly accepted thousands of years after religions were formed but some people are still silly enough to follow that.

As a Christian these types of articles excite me. I have no problem reconciling science and God. I just hate that some posters on here have to be either or. I kinda like the idea of the universe just inflating in the smallest fractions of a second and that God simply said "Go" and it happened. I also like the fact that it is all explained by physics and science. Whoever rips me or belittles me or mocks me for this statement, go ahead. But God and science together is the coolest thing to me.

And you shouldnt be...there are plenty of Christians/ religious believers in the field of science who make remarkable discoveries...Really the greatest fear for atheists is seeing that religion and science coexist in harmony. Regardless of evidence etc, these folk would rather spend their entire lives disproving religion rather than trying to see commonalities in both. In the end, science is just another way to reason the meaning/purpose behind our lives. Perhaps religion gives us the overview of the story, and science helps us fill in the finer details...
