and pircs point is that they will do a lot more damage with a gun than with a knife.

Maybe you have heard something that i have not but i have yet to see these "CLEAR warning signs" you talk about. All i've heard was he was shy, he was a loner, he was weird, he was autistic... i know plenty of people with these traits but none of them would go on a shooting rampage.

please expound on these clear warnings.

He had an altercation with school officials the day before the attack.

I'm guessing this had something to do with his mother who was a teacher at the school, but he killed her at home.

This is an not an either "we identify these people ahead of time and stoop them" or "we regulate guns" situation. We should do both.

I am also going to repeat myself again. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Guns just make it a lot easier.

Yes a determined killer will find a way to kill people you have to ask yourself why do these mass killers use guns and not knives, homemade bombs, car or etc... ? It's because guns are far easier to use than any of those options.

ok but again altercations occur frequently but they usually do not lead to mass murder.

maybe something will come out later but as of now i don't see any signs whatsoever. Just the media desperately trying to find signs.

The 2nd amendment says the right to bear arms... Why is Obama so anti constitutional not allowing civilians the right to bear nuclear arms?

You don't see an altercation with four staff members the day before the attack as clear signs of intent? You also don't see the fact that he had a personality disorder as a sign that something could go wrong? Give me a break. What about being a parent and having weapons readily available to a kid with a personality disorder? Blame guns all you want, but don't ignore the obvious.

Or why not let us carry as many prosthetic arms as we want? Or, actual BEAR arms? Got ourselves a constitutional expert over here.

There was an altercation at the basketball game i was at yesterday, i guess thats was a "CEAR sign" mass murder was just around the corner. So exactly what personality disorder did he have that was a clear sign? Maybe we should arrest all people with this disorder before there is another shooting.

Being a parent and having weapons available to ANY kid is a problem. Assault weapons are the problem, the ease of obtaining guns in this country is a problem.

Statistics prove otherwise. If you are going to bash gun, bash hand guns seeing that nearly 70% of all gun related homicides are hand gun related.

If there is an altercation the day before at a school there SHOULD be increased security the day after. Seriously, a 20 year old man who has nothing to do with that school comes there and causes trouble, and the next day he comes back and shoots the place up... you don't see a problem with that?
