Never knew this, and I was quite into astronomy growing up. Although I don't see much of a point for it. I feel if someone actually bothered to learn the name of all the planets, that's not too far from learning their positions in the solar system.
Since our moon is the largest moon in the solar system, the Earth and Moon are sometimes referred to as a binary planet system.
