My bad... I searched back four or five pages and didn't see anything, but hopefully this duplicate can be closed.

One of the potential great things about a Trump Presidency (not an endorsement) is the opportunity to unseal so many of the personal details about Obama that his team of lawyers have worked so hard to conceal from the American public. Deep questions include how did Obama pay for college, did he apply as a foreign student, how did he pay for his drugs in his 20's, what was his relationship with foreign donors in his 20's, did he forge the long form birth certificate that Trump guilted out of him, did he order the killing of Donald Young, the choir director at Trinity United, the weirdness surrounding his social security number, his standardized test scores and college grades, and a long list other items that Obama wants hidden from view.

The media worked so hard to not let any of these items see the light of day, because of the civil unrest that they would have created. If you think today's Republican party civil war is ugly, just wait until the black community supports a candidate that the rest of the Democratic party does not support or was disqualified due to legal reasons. That would likely lead to riots, which is what would have happened had some of this information about Obama made its way into the public light. Trump could have the ability to destroy the Obama legacy completely, by revealing so many ugly details that the establishment and media have buried out of respect for the public welfare. Trump obviously has no regard for these types of niceties. If there is a silver lining about the possibility of Trump Presidency, it would be the unmasking of the lies and deceit surrounding Obama.

    GOOD DAY

no, i like the cia creation angle better. it holds more weight. obame was raised by his grandparents. his grandfather worked in the furniture store business. his grandmother worked herself up from secretary to vp of a bank in the 70s. that's a hollywood script. obama is kevin arnold.

Even if all those things were true, they wouldn't be as bad as the things we already know to be true about Bill Clinton, and other than the Newsmax/Frontpage/Alex Jones readers, no one would care.

This is why I say more people should be involved in local elections like school board. With so little turnout and participation it's easy for the crazies to get elected.

The State BOE elections have been a joke for years. Nobody cares enough to vote, much less research the candidates. You get a relative handful of nutbar rightwingers who are all gung-ho about the primary and then the sheep just vote straight ticket Republican in the general election.

I don't know enough about local elections. I kind recall hearing that it's extremely easy to essentially buy your way into winning local elections. Is that true?

I would think it's more difficult since candidates are more well known to the people voting?

It's certainly less accountable to the press beyond one newspaper and the three local televised news affiliates. It's possible in that less people vote and most cities are going to be dependent on one or two major industries or businesses, so there's probably a cluster of entrepreneurs and officials who if they're like minded enough can control things.
