There has been no confirmation on the reason why anyone has been fired. The tone of most of the post about Easterby are less about him being a slime ball and more about how prayer circles contributed to the team going 4-12. Christianity has become a running joke here. Everyone is entitled to believe what they want to, but it would be a pointless occupation to complain about the how prayer circles effect the on the outcome on field for the next ten years.
Analytics, player development, cap management, roster construction, player evaluation. Just to name a few. Im fine with players having opinions or even getting a glimpse behind the scenes of what coaches/upper management do to help them with post playing career. But ultimately, players are going to do what is best for themselves individually and do what helps their legacy. That isn’t always to the benefit of the team. Playing the game at a high level doesn’t mean you have knowledge of the macro side of the game.
I’m sure many don’t. I’ve said as much already. Qualifications mattering doesn’t only apply to players.
https://www.houstonchronicle.com/te...shaun-Watson-trade-possibilities-15938231.php Pancakes -Texans say they aren’t trading Watson. Right now, they believe it. -If they don’t trade him by the draft, he’s in for a long haul which he’ll have to sit out Wilson -Status quo -Don’t know why people feel the need to report something if they don’t have new information to offer -Nothing new; it’s a standoff; they don’t want to trade him; he still wants to be traded; no communication -They’ve reached out to him; he doesn’t respond; ghosting the team -If he was to engage them, that would give hope; he doesn’t want to give them that -Why talk with someone when you’ve already communicated what you want? You already communicated the trade request through your representative -For him to start having talks or considering things, while that may be what the fans and team wants, it’s contrary to his wishes; why engage if you have no intention of coming back? -This is him being a man of his word and being intentional -I’m told this is not a strategy or them wanting something. They want one thing: out. That has not changed. To say there’s something new, no there isn’t. People like the clicks or conversation or wanting to be relevant. -I see people make a big deal about a lot of things; firing the equipment manager and on Sunday morning Adam Schefter is making a big deal out of that; Yeah, players like him and he was a good equipment manager; is he headline news? Not in my opinion. There are changes when you have a regime change. There will be more changes like that. -Not everything is a huge deal; Some people love to create drama; players on social media, is it done to create disruption or is it genuine feelings? I wonder. -Everything is a “big deal”; this is a team that people want to make everything more dramatic than they are Pancakes -Mulugheta & Watson at some point should have a meeting with the Texans so they can hear from Watson; doesn’t have to be a lot of give and take, just hear from him what does he want?; then tell him and Mulugheta face to face here’s exactly what we think then see where it goes -I think we’ll be watching Deshaun sit out; he can retire -Key is will they give in closer to the draft; if they do, it should start with the Jets Wilson -Keep an eye on the Miami Dolphins still
#KyleMcNair Cal, Kyle, Cal, Kyle... To avoid any more confusion, call him by his real name: DANIEL CALHOUN MCNAIR
with JJ's announcement and the frenzy it will cause, i'm curious to see what comes from Watson/his camp. They could really create a complete S-storm if they wanted...like announcing something along the lines of "Watson is willing to re"
Bosa (for obvious reasons both football and non football related) and some picks would probably get it done. Would be pretty cool to see Watson directing the Shanny/Koobs WCO. It doesnt matter where anymore just do it already. No need to prolong the inevitable.
