If he destroyed the team AND left isnt that enough to want to leave? Maybe gb shouldve gotten randy moss?

"brand" is true and that also goes with protecting your body against the yearly ragdolling he gets with texans. Dude rode with a jacked up lung to jacksonville..lest we forget..

So after signing big - When did "the player"..err deshaun say he wanted out? After BOB? after confirm of eastersleaze?
After said would look at gms then got caserio? After disrespecting "the player "
? After no saleh or any input? After andre duane kareem david carr said? how many times do you think its ok?
What do you in YOUR life?
How many times do you let it happen? How much do you like to get ragdolled?

    @Bobbythegreat
wants eastersleaze and mcnair to rag doll him ...GET DOWN MAK3 LOVE

How old were you when you first let a man make love to you?
    Next, who was he?
Next, how did you feel at the time?
Next, how did you feel afterward?
What did you feel, what did you think?
Were you pleased, frightened, ecstatic, disgusted?
What did he say? What words did you speak?
That's what I want to know
Now, tell me, now, now, all of it, now, tell me, yes!

@Nook you remember this one grin

the ACTUAL best case scenario is that he sits a year and gets traded next offseason. The team should be bad enough to get the 1st pick (hopefully), then you can trade him for multiple picks and start to actually rebuild.

This should be in the fire Easterby thread. Should have washed the equipment in holy water and Jack would have let them keep their 14 year jobs. Such a ****ing snake.

I was going to post it there but as in JR's epic timeline one of Deshaun's overlooked quotes is about, not love of football but the people. In other words there is so much of this bs going around with some people thinking they have the power. Now we know that person does have all the power.

    Lol it’s DW4’s fault.

he is Easterby’s biggest supporter, NEVER, not once has he said a bad word about him while Easterby runs the organization into the ground.

    DW4 is a hack.

For the people that say if deshaun wasn't happy, why sign the extension? If he didn't sign that extension, the texans would have control over him for up to 7 seasons at the very least (5th year option, franchise tag for 2 years).

If you were unsure of the teams direction, would you decline the extension and give them control over you or are you going to make a business decision for yourself?

Just be honest, he did it because he wanted the money, it was the only thing he cared about at the time.

Once he got it, then he started thinking about his brand and decided he could profit more in a larger market.

All of the rest is just BS similar to when Harden simps were blaming Fertitta for Harden's disgraceful actions.

I'm by no means defending Easterby or even Cal, I'm just pointing out that those are excuses being made for Watson quitting on the franchise and seeking a larger market for his own personal gain. Watson has proven to be a snake with no loyalty to anyone. It's unfortunate, but sometimes you pick the wrong caliber people to try and build around and this is what happens.

Best case scenario, he has a change of heart and stops being a scumbag. Second best case scenario is he sits out for a year, loses millions, and the Texans flip him next year to a sucker team for half a dozen first round picks helping the team's cap situation while allowing them to restock with enough picks to attempt to rebuild around hopefully more worthy players.

Wouldn’t you rather have the option to be able to trade Deshaun and get a package for the Texans vs walking for next to nothing after two years?

All these Texan fans are supposedly looking at how Deshaun should’ve acted vs how the Texans should’ve acted.

So sign the extension and give the team longer control? 4 yr extension plus 3 eligible years on the tag.

It's not the same "control" though. Deshaun can veto any trade he doesn't like so he can almost choose where he wants to go. Also, years don't progress if you sit out on your rookie contract. So he could sit out for 5 years and still be under team control.
