There were a solid franchise because Watt played the most dominant defensive football we've seen since Lawrence Taylor. And the best they would do for the quarterback position in his tenue was a noodle armed Schaub.
That's part of the problem, he doesn't deserve any input on those decisions, but he thinks he should be allowed to run the entire franchise. Remember the last guy we had that thought like that? Yup, BOB, how'd that turn out? There's a reason why you don't give single people that much control.
Is this a serious comment? The Texans should give up a franchise altering player who hasn't hit his prime yet on a long-term, team-friendly deal that he willingly signed, because he "wants to go"? I don't understand some of y'all. "Player empowerment" has so beyond jumped the shark it's ridiculous.
But he's the second most compensated player in the NFL. That should be enough to play through scrub teams. Millions of humans get paid less than 15 dollars an hour to do jobs they hate. Sport fans sometimes need a jolt of perspective before they think a athlete is blameless.
Um, take off the rose colored glasses, sunshine. If you fire a coach, early in the season, you have the best opportunity to hire the BEST damn available coach. We sat idly on our hands and didn’t get the coach OR GM until we were down 2 TDS with 50 seconds remaining on the clock.
Ask much as it pains me to lose him, he deserves better than Cal and his ****boy fake preacher and rookie geriatric coach. This franchise is a ****ing JOKE.
doesn't matter. some of yall are programmed to think money is everything. it isn't. those people getting paid $15/hr should do something better then
good thing about the NFL bargaining agreement, you CAN request a trade. Or would you like your slave to shut up and go back to work?
You can request a trade and the team has a right to ignore it. I'd love to be a slave worth over a 100 mil. Sign me up.
This is BS. They were a mediocre team (at best) in a weak divison. The franchise is a joke overall. From top to bottom.
