Like daddy said, "You can't let the inmates run the Prison". Cal about to show up to Watson's house with a can of paint
He signed his contract when BoB was coach. BoB put in a no trade clause btw. Since then: - BoB was fired (first coach in the NFL this season) - We’ve has ALL season to find a great coach, nope we’re the last to hire - Omar Khan was going to get hired as GM. Nope, Easterby and Cal fly last min just to bring along Caserio The Texans have had SO MANY opportunities during this period to make changes. Nothing - Nada. If you blame him, it says a lot about your character.
Sign me up and let's do it. No time to ****in waste with these other teams. We need that 2nd pick and more, Jets suck ass and will suck again next year. EDIT: When I say WE, I mean the Texans fan. I forgot I sold my soul to the Chiefs a few minutes ago. Lets Go Mahomes! Texas boys for the win.
The Texans were a consistently solid franchise the vast majority of JJ Watt's career. Not a great franchise but the "awful franchise" label is ridiculous.
Is it not obvious why? the franchise is incompetent. fans see the "leadership", they see Hopkins being traded for nothing, they see an owner letting his best friend (maybe they're more than that?) run the franchise into the ground with terrible financial dealings and bad draft picks. why do you want fans to bring up the heat on Deshaun when the people running the franchise itself deserve 99% of the blame?
No dude. I understand that Cal has a outdated view of society. But this dude is making 40 mil a year off of Houstonians buying merch, watching games and attending them live. He just signed an extention. Like do I have to have that much sympathy for a man who lives the most lavish lifestyle possible not liking his management? He is being compensated extremely well. That should be enough for the vast majority of humans to put in the work and honor commitments.
Yeah 100%. Just the whole offseason felt very scripted. Even the leak to Mort about wanting out over politics that got retracted. That reads to me like they put out there and then quickly realized it would be problematic considering the teams he wanted to go to had same politics.
If their cap situation doesn’t get helped this year... at least they’d save money from missed game checks. The league and other teams should be worried about a possible precedent-setting action that isn’t going to be “good” for the league long term. Super teams formed via trade demands actually did not help the NBA’s numbers... but now it’s so common place there nobody cares.
LOL you're positivity may be reaching Easterby levels! Are we having a winning season next year? Year after that? "we cant tell what the future brings??" Go Texans!
If part of the reason Watson wants to leave is because we fired Bill O'brien then Watson deserves zero input on who to hire in management and at head coach.
Watson agent put in the no trade clause. I wonder if they knew all along if texans didn't get their ish together, they would just request a trade outta that mess. Smart
Some Houstonians. Maybe idiots who couldn't tell this organization has been garbage for nearly two decades. I haven't spent a cent on the Texans.
How is he living the most lavish lifestyle? He has been one of the Texans to show up for work everyday and bust his arse. Can’t say the same for the front office who actually have a duty to the city of Houston. But it’s a old boys club in there. This is the same management that had an issue with Amy Palcic VP of Comms... you think Watson is the problem here?!
bc fans understand how hes surrounded by a bunch of dumbasses and scrub of a team. well let me say that again, competent fans
Maybe he shouldn't have signed that extention and kept the hopes of of thousands of Houstonians who support Watson.
