Titans barely got Mariota. Moving forward they should be very fine if they give him the right pieces and they did in the off season. Jags are legit. Not far behind us.
I have to see it to believe it. They have made some good moves but that does not mean it will manifest on the gridiron.
Theres still huge question marks for both teams. Bortles put up some tremendous numbers... in games that his team was already behind and he was basically put in a position to get to throw a ton. He still makes some bad reads... and throws some picks that makes Brian Hoyer cringe. The Titans may have all these picks and young talent... and yet they're bringing back a HC who has never had success (almost as if they're basically settling for him). They're really going to need somebody with some skins on the wall to guide them to the next level... or else they risk wasting all these resources and multiple picks in the hands of a rookie GM.
Bears ----- soft W Chiefs ----- hard L @Patriots - hard L Titans ---- hard W @Vikings - ? Colts ---- ? @Broncos - soft L Lions ---- soft W @Jags ------ ? @Mexico City (Raiders) -- soft L Chargers -- soft W @Green Bay -- hard L @Colts --- hard L Jags --- soft W Bengals -- ? @Titans -- ? The fact that I can't put a hard W on this list is not a good sign. edit: I think the Titans @ home should be a solid W.
I think it's just indicative of your personal pessimism more so than anything. Calling the Colts game a hard loss is kind of odd, same goes for the Patriots who very well could be without Tom Brady.
We have a shot at winning every game easily IMO but GB, the Chiefs, Broncos, Vikings, and raiders. Not saying we can't beat those teams as well but much harder. Guess we can reassess after the draft
That's true, it is way the hell to early to tell. I still think the Vikings are overrated, they have a very solid defense and they have AD and that's it. If Peterson has a good day, the Vikings win, if not, they lose. I think we'll be very solid against the run so I don't think the Vikings should be favored. I agree that the Packers, Chiefs (to a much lesser extent), and Broncos should be solidly favored. The Raiders are a weird team and I don't quite know what I feel about them. Either way, we'll know a LOT more closer to the season starting.
If our division stays weak then yes. The Colts and even Jags have a legit chance of being much better though, but who knows
But they have 2 2nd round picks and 2 third round picks. Plus they still have Ninkovich, Malcolm Brown, pot roast, and Long. They're just reloading.
Well, with the way things are going with the other teams, the Texans will go 6-10. Realistically, I'd hope for 10 or 11 wins.
