    What about five?

Mario, Schaub, DeMeco, Cushing and Andre.

Couldn't agree more. Does anyone actually watch the "game" anyways?

To think, if Owen had stayed healthy he'd probably be there too. Then again we started struggling when he went down. I won't put it all on one player, but when you're a play away in a handful of games, maybe that player could've got you at least one more win. Anyway, I digress.

Great news for Matt. I'll take all the positives out of this season that we can.

Schaubs stats were better anyway, he should have been there in the first place.

If Manning ends up winning on Sunday, he won't be going to the Pro Bowl.

That means Schaub likely ends up as the STARTING QB. Who else would go from the AFC? Rothlesberger has already turned down the invite. Palmer won't go because he's hurt. Neither will Flacco. Brady Quinn? Mark Sanchez? Jamarcus Russel?

The Pro Bowl is the lamest all star game of any of them... and it just got lamer when they decided to move it to a week before the Super Bowl and put it in Miami.

I wonder if the NFL consulted those "geniuses" at NBC before the made this move. Absolutely stupid to move it to from Hawaii to Miami the week before the SB.

Why? They'll get less stars, but people are still interested in football the week before the Superbowl - normally, it's a big lull that everyone's annoyed by. After the Superbowl, everyone loses interest in the game. I'm guessing ratings will be at least a bit higher, which is really the only purpose of the move. Generally, Superbowl participants didn't play in the game anyway.

I hope they all bow out of the pro bowl. What a waste of a game considering the changes

I disagree, I think that only reason they moved it was because of $$$ - it costs less to have the game in Miami than it does in Hawaii. As for ratings, that's a big assumption that they'll get better ratings. I think the ratings issues stem primarily from the game being on cable channel ESPN instead of ABC.

Generally though, most folks really don't care about the Pro Bowl anyway and I don't forsee that changing anytime soon. I'm sure the interest around Houston will be higher because of Schaub playing and all that but up here in Dallas, there is collective ho-hum amongst the cowsheep nation about this game.

in what universe is spending less money on something that has low interest and generates little revenue a bad thing?

By the way, Mario will be starting now that Freeney and Mathis won't be playing.

    They haven't decided yet.

Hawaii gets the Pro Bowl for the next two years. Easy to see why since the Super Bowl will be in North Texas and Indianapolis the next two years. Those two locations are not very desirable vacation destinations.

Not that is really matters or anything..but the Texans made a nice showing at the Pro Bowl.

Shaub was MVP and had 2 TDs
Johnson had 71yds and a TD
Williams had 2 sacks and a few QB hits.

Yes it was the Pro Bowl...but it is what it is and I thought Shaub was sharp.

Yeah. Matt looked like the best QB in the game. Rodgers had a good game too though. Mario was great. That last hit caused Tony H's interception that pretty much sealed it. I'm hoping thats a preview for when we meet them next year. Demarcus did force a fumble from Matt, but if it were a real game he would've been called for offsides. Good job by our guys.
