If you guys have time, check out this video...at least the first few minutes. Im surprised to see how well Schaub used to move around in the pocket. I never remember him moving like that. Maybe his foot injury has hampered him, but this was interesting to see. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/cSzkqchFbhM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
You know... someone mentioned the lincs franc injury on the radio this morning and it hadn't even crossed my mind... I know a slew of "experts" lined up to deliver doom and gloom news about him throughout the offseason. It might have been a factor. Perhaps it regressed throughout the year? Was it ever brought up? I heard the 610 guys drilling him about health yesterday but never anything specific about the foot. (I believe Lopez asked him... man, what did he say? Arm-somethingstupid and you could tell, Schaub was like, "WTF are you talking about?")
quit putting words into his mouth. he clearly said that you never had any chance of being right, only he did. His Idiocy calls it a draw, and dag nabbit, you will shut your mouth and agree!!
Matty "I need everything to be elite" Schaub 62 million?! Spoiler Stuck with him now. Battlefightin' we go!
I am but an idiot who puts words into your mouth repeatedly, and posts a bunch of senseless gobbledygook. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=6632920&postcount=163 What do I want, a cookie???
Dude, you really need to move on... So, what is your liscfranc experience? I didn't read the rest of the thread - but your post piqued my interest. Am I wrong that no one (media-wise) has pursued this as a possible issue?
i have none. i'm just a simpleton who has learned about the injury and applied common sense towards its likely effects on the future performance of an already-less-than-mobile quarterback. if you are talking about media talking about this following sunday's loss, i have no clue. been too aggravated to listen to any post-game fallout. it has been under-covered throughout the season though, it seems. particularly when him and the offense went to absolute waste over the past 2 months.
Boy, losing really does make us grasp at straws. Blaming this year on the linsfranc? Really? And yeah, I heard that arm question too. I lol'd at his reaction.
by the way, i'm not one to ever correct spelling or grammar on these boards, since i understand that most posts are made hastily and without proofreading, but, since it was just spelled 3 different ways, to clear it up: it's "Lisfranc" (not lincs, lisc, or lins).
Yes Matt moved better, but the playcalling back then was great, I mean great, all those throws downfield, look how many times he would hit Walters or Dre, down the sidelines, we just dont see that playcalling no more, since we got this new OC
I wasnt blaming the year on his injury....was just noting that he moves completely different in the 2011 video than what we witnessed this season. It's either bc of the injury or bc he now has a phobia for collapsed pockets.
The OC goes over the plays and the scheme at practice. Kubiak reads off his ihop menu and sends the calls in during the game. If Dennison gets the Bears job, cutler is going to look like Schaub did 2 years ago.
