The best chance you're going to get at that is the draft. Romo/Flacco are not coming here. Who do you want?
I asked you a serious question. Come up with a feasible answer. Otherwise, you're just b****ing for the sake of b****ing. Which most of us suspect you've been doing all along.
Ok. There's none. I'm just pissed man! Pissed at the team. Pissed at the loss. Pissed at HeyNow for making this thread. ****ING PISSED AT SCHAUB . You know I called this 2 seasons ago. I knew Schaub couldn't take us to the penthouse. I knew it and it still stings. Even the money I won pales in comparison to the pain. ..... (you didn't have to edit it; I answered your question)
Ive been listening to sports talk radio...and the people calling in and inquiring about a new QB to replace Schaub...their solutions are either not feasible or they are ridiculous. In the end, Schaub is the QB unless Yates shows up to camp and blows everyone's brains out.
There were plenty of 49ers fans last year who sound just like you do now. There's also a lot of Ravens fans who are going to be saying the SAME thing about Flacco when he loses another AFC title game this year. Draft time. Make your pick. Call your shot.
Delusion alley http://nesn.com/2013/01/gary-kubiak...uarterback-in-football-despite-patriots-loss/ “I think he’s one of the top quarterbacks in football. He’s had his team in great position for the last two years,” Kubiak said. “I believe in our quarterback wholeheartedly, and my point is that we are going to continue to push him to a new level as a player.” Schaub will be 32 when the 2013 season starts, so there’s definitely a question of whether Schaub can get to that next level as Kubiak wants him to. But Schaub is just as confident in his talents as his head coach. “There is no doubt that I belong [with the quarterbacks who won this weekend],” Schaub said. “I think I belong right up there with every one of them.”
They have every right to, when you're on the doorsteps to the Superbowl. Flacco plays well against the Pats (2 wins) . Schaub on the other hand......
Listening to Kubiak on 610 yesterday made me sick to my stomach. So much effin coach-speak that he even acknowleged that it was exactly that. I've come to the sad conclusion that it's just not in our cards with this owner, coach and QB. Ya we'll be a playoff contender and the Texans owner will bank but I've lost SB hope.
your biggest problem is that you aim all you anger at him and him alone. He's become your (and many others) scapegoat. The QB is always the easiest target but that doesn't mean it's needs to be the only one. He wasn't the only reason the texans lost that game...hell, he wasn't even the main reason the texans lost that game.
Roll your eyes at them all you want, but it's a pretty hollow criticism. Same question to you now, who do you want to draft at QB? (Or who do you want to sign 2 years from now after cutting Schaub)
A lot of players outside Foster, AJ, and Watt are to blame but I think most realize that. Defense was pathetic. The thing is that not every playoff game is going to go as you plan. Your QB should be able to handle the pressure and execute. With our cap situation being the way it is, Matt Schaub doesn't seem to be able to overcome our holes.
Even Sammy has lost hope.... I heard it as well. Infuriating. No fire at all from the coach. The QB....
