Joe Flacco is a bad version of Matt Schaub. Baltimore loses when they rely on him instead of Ray Rice.

I was thinking about that. I think it's a toss up to be honest. Maybe Matt is a little better.

Please, PLEASE let us swap Schaub for Flacco.

We would be crying for Matt's noodle-arm so fast...

flacco outplayed brady in foxborough, if not for lee evans drop, the ravens are in the super bowl.. if you dont think flacco can pa bootleg like schaub than you are a delusional schaub nut hugger.. schaub has no redeeming qualities outside of knowledge of the system. flacco has a stronger arm, pocket presence, more mobility, plays in a tougher division, and has done it in the playoffs.. stick with your bs criticisms of qbs who dont play in qb friendly systems like matt does.. because if schaub was baltimores qb he wouldnt do anywhere near the numbers he does here behind kubiak..

Watching the other games this afternoon, its amazing how these QBs throw hard and accurate on the run. If schoob doesn't set his feet it's pathetic.

Flacco >> Schaub. Much stronger arm, can run for first downs, etc. What does Schaub do that Flacco can't? Flacco would have hit Jean in stride when he blew past two defenders. Flacco could have hit Casey in stride and not have underthrown it. Flacco is underrated and would be awesome in this extremely QB friendly system. Lets all not forget that even David Carr and Sage Rosenfels looked average in this system.

He would be better than Schaub.

    Give Flacco:
    Weak division
    Good oline
    Foster
    AJ
    Plethora of tight ends

It's not 100% necessary but it is certainly very very very important. Look at Super Bowl champs since 1990 (random start date). How many didn't have a top 5 QB?

While your point about not even watching is logical, fandom is t about being logical. The Lakers and/or Celtics have been in what, more than half of all nba finals of the last 60 years and won a super large percentage also. And the Lakers continue to find ways to trade for the best player in the league or the perfect all star complimentary players. But I'll still watch.

I'll still watch and believe he Texans can win the Super Bowl this year... But in my heart of hearts, even a month ago, i didn't think it very likely.

Replace Schaub with any of the aforementioned QBs not only do I think it likely they win a superbowl but probably many. Of course obtaining one isn't easy, but it isn't impossible either. Brady wasn't a number one pick. Neither was Rodgers. Warner came out of nowhere, etc. for a coach that is an expert QB evaluator, apparently, we need to think about improving the position.... Some way

Good idea. Let's put a bunch of resources into making a lateral (at best) move at QB.

The Ravens/Steelers BBS's would DIE if they saw this.

Flacco is a pretty bad decision maker.

 David Carr, in no way, shape, or form, looked average in this system. He had a decent QB rating but was at the bottom of the league in yards per game and had more INTs than TDs. There was a game against Oakland where they didn't even let him throw in the 2nd half because every time he did anything, it hurt the team. They had a net negative 5 yards passing in the game.

You don't get out much, do you?

This violates your Top 5 rule anyway, doesn't it?

Serious question, why is Donny so in love with Schaub?
