why don't you just go be a fan of the elite qbs, since they've won multiple(0) superbowls since they started throwing for 'elite' numbers. Dammmmn, i said i would not post til the conference championship, but the ignorant brought me back in.
And you call yourself a Texans fan? Pretty pathetic to root for a team or player on it to fail...why don't you just gtfo?
Something is wrong, but it's not with his arm, it's with the right side of the O line. They were only rushing 4 and getting to him all day. When Matt has time, he is one of the most accurate passers in the league.
We all knew you rooted against Schaub, therefore against the Texans as well. This types of posts prove it.
Why yes... His arm is not elite. Neither is his decision making or play under pressure for that matter. Ain't nothing elite about shwab
But the secret is out...rattle Schuab in the pocket a bit...and he starts making poor decisions...Im still furious about his cowardly sack he took...(not the one he took knocking us out TD range...) Schaub if he gets into a rhythm...is a really good QB...but he becomes errant if the pocket does not hold up well...Schaub played extremely poorly...had a chance to wrap up #1 and blew it ...that is on Kubiak, Matt and the offense... But the great thing about this league...you can always get another chance...and that is next week against the Colts(loose next week and the Texans i think loose the bye week advantage as well...and will be playing in the wildcard game) In a weird way im glad the Texans didnt get it done today...primarily because the starters wouldve been off for 3 weeks...football is a rhythm game...and teams that play well down the stretch, play well in the playoffs... Every Texan staff, player and fan needs to realize that this team can be beat whether they are at home or on the road...Time to get serious and treat next week's game as a playoff game..and fire on all cylinders...whether your playing against scrubs or their first team...better bring your A game and demolish the Colts...
Or if he had any ability to extend a play or pick up 3-5 yards when the play breaks down. Every other QB that will be in the AFC play-offs can do this, and it sometimes just kills drives.
Pathetic is how I would describ it. His total inability to extend a play is beyond frustrating. The second he feels pressure he either folds on the ground or throws it away... That happened no less than 10 times today. I'll just come out and say it - i have absolutely no confidence that he can lead this team anywhere. Dude just folds under pressure time and time again. Here's hoping he proves me wrong but I'm not betting on it.
could have been 0-4 tbh.. needed all the help against the lions. and cutler knocked out of a defensive struggle...
oh come on, who are you kidding? we could see right through your "fandom" before the first denver game we played. your "books" were closed before the first snap and on fire after the safety on Swazbzab. When it comes to schaub it's simple, protect him and he will perform. Pressure him and it will be a long afternoon for the offense, but that's why the system is built around good linemen, who have been underperforming as of late. Schaub has had 4 really bad games and still managed to make throws to split those games. (I'm omitting the bears game for extreme wet conditions). Brady has had 5 bad games and lost 3 of them. Also, ever since Brady's qb rating spiked over 92, he has NEVER won a superbowl. Point being, It's impossible and a complete lie that one man can WIN a superbowl by himself. You people act like it's a bad thing to have a running game. If you're a fan of football, you'd know that in the playoffs everything goes and the elite are prone to failure in the first game just as any other Qb. Have faith, mother lover. You're more likely to win a superbowl with a qb in the 90s, as long as he is standing straight, receivers catch the ball, defense plays defense and special teams click. Go Texans!
