Kellen Moore has the most wins in NCAA History, college stats mean nada Todd McShay isnt high on Aaron Murray, he stayed at Georgia his 5th year for a reason
Ok I'm done. Get that piece of crap out of my face. All he does is lock on Andre even when Hopkins is running free in the secondary.
Arian Foster and JJ Watt deserve better than this. Texans are starting to resemble the Vikings. QB holding us back.
hoping the Niners makes this a quick and painless loss...Last week was the start of something erupting bad. Matt Schaub should be gone. I dont think its right to just even bench him...time to cut losses, trade star players...rebuild this season, and hand the reigns over to Keenum or Yates
I won't be watch another Texans game until both Kubiak and Schaub are gone. Period, end of story. NBA season can't get here fast enough.
http://nfl.si.com/2013/10/06/matt-schaub-pick-six-record-houston-texans/?sct=hp_t2_a6&eref=sihp Matt Schaub did not waste much time Sunday night getting his name in the NFL record books … though, he probably would prefer he not to be. On the third play of Houston’s game in San Francisco and Schaub’s first pass, the 49ers’ Tramaine Brock returned an interception for a touchdown. The turnover marked the fourth straight game in which Schaub had fired a pick-six, setting a new NFL record. Dating back to last season, opposing teams have scored off a Schaub INT if five of the Texans’ last seven games. Brock joined the Titans’ Alterraun Verner, the Ravens’ Daryl Smith and the Seahawks’ Richard Sherman in victimizing Schaub this season. The pick-sixes by Smith and Sherman each came in a Houston loss. Following last week’s game, in which the Texans blew a 17-point fourth quarter lead and lost to Seattle, one Houston fan was caught on tape burning a Schaub jersey in the stadium parking lot. The heat on Schaub himself continues to ratchet up, too, seemingly with each passing week. The Texans’ 2-2 start — not to mention the 4-1 and 3-2 records of Indianapolis and Tennessee, respectively — have left many folks in that fan base wondering aloud if a QB change might be in order. The options behind Schaub are rather unappealing, though. T.J. Yates, who quarterbacked a Houston playoff win over Cincinnati, is Schaub’s backup. He has not started a game since the 2011 playoffs and has yet to throw a pass this year. Behind him is third-string rookie Case Keenum. For better or worse, the Texans are locked in with Schaub for the immediate future. Lately, there has been more failure than success.
Well, this was Schaub's biggest game of his career...the pressure was on to show that he can be the man. He came out and had the worst game of his career. That tells me enough. He's weak, fragile, and just not the guy that should be starting for this team.
But, but, but, I only irrationally defended Schaub all Summer because there was no indication that he was in decline.
Obviously time for a change. Schaub is cooked. Yates is a solid backup, nothing more. My opinion has never changed on this topic. I want to see Keenum get a real shot. CK may not be the guy, but at least we will know whether or not he has/or is the future of the Texans at the QB spot.
Need to let Case Keenum make his case. Settle it. Make everyone happy. Schaub becomes 3rd string. TJ backup. Done.
