But he didnt play badly either. 1 rushing TD, 1 passing TD... and the offense was moving the ball for the most part, with two turnovers thwarting possible scoring drives and the missed short FG thwarting another one. The sack fumble was partly on Schaub as he presumed that the defender that had gotten chipped would stay down (but he didn't).

The important thing is that he didn't pull a Flacco and succumb to the superior Jacksonville D-line.

I would rather have Romo with our O-line to be honest.

Romo would bring some excitement to the position, but thats about it.... I think we've had enough excitement for awhile at QB, thanks to......

exactly. He did make that big mistake on the fumble (looked like he was trying to make the big play) but he still won the game on an "average" personal game.

It is apparent that he does miss AJ on those deep plays. JJ had a couple that would have been completions with AJ

After the 5th deep ball in the first half, I was wondering if Kubiak was aware that Andre was sitting this game out. Didn't help Baltimore much against the Jags, and the Texans didn't start getting some good drives going until they quit swinging for the fences(after that opener).

He throws them low, but the feet thing usually comes from not being able to get a clean throw. He doesn't throw it at AJ80's feet much. Might be some of the routes being run(JJ12!) as well.

But mostly all of those deep balls featured one-on-one coverage with the reciever having a step. Just didn't execute it.

Obviously, you have to take what the defense gives you... and in this case, Jacksonville was clogging up the middle and daring the Texans to beat them over the top.

The opportunities were there... just didn't execute. Doesn't make them bad play-calls. We'll see how they execute with AJ back when we play them on 11/27.

I can almost hear Leonard Nimoy's voice in the background.

Right, but I think it's poor game planning to go that many times with players who aren't really all that good at it. It's like running Mike Alstott on outside sweeps all game long. That may be what the D is giving you, but it's not the strength of the players trying to run it.

LOL! The NBA is much better than the Euroleage. I mean Schaub is a second tier QB who is well above the average QBs like Cutler.

What? No real response? You have to dig into your hard drive for a lame jpeg?

    I expected more from you.
