SCARFACE SOLD OUT at Circuit City on 610 & San Felipe! It was 11:45 am and they were sold out!! Who in the heck orders DVD's for Circuit City cause they suck! I really wonder how many they got in and why they didn't get in more, considering this is one of the biggest releases of the year! LAME-O -- CIRCUIT CITY dvd ordering blows! btw, they have plenty at Target but they are $19.99
Sweet. I picked up mine at that EXACT Circuit City at 10:30am. The guy was still putting them on display, but never got to b/c people kept asking him for them straight from the box! I'm so glad I decided to go before lunch, b/c I suspected they would sell out at $15.99 Me so happy. Me want to cry! edit: The box he was trying to put on display only had about 100 WS and 100 FS DVDs. If that's all they had, they're morons!
so... those of you that have this DVD, do you have a Chapter List or an insert card with your DVD? Mine has an ad for the deluxe edition and some other new releases, but no chapter list... how 'bout you...
Nope. No insert, but that's been the norm for Universal lately. Frankly, given how badly they've f'ed up major catalog titles in the past like Jurassic Park(the DTS version), Back to the Future, and most recently Monty Python's Meaning of Life, I'm just thankful that Scarface turned out alright. BTW, if anyone's still looking for Scarface at a reasonable price, Wal-Mart had a bunch of copies selling for $15.77. Although they were running low on widescreen when I was there, so you better hurry. Worst case scenario, just take Circuit City's flyer to Worst Buy and have them pricematch.
