Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Whitesnake - Greatest Hits Black Sabbath - Tyr Jacob's Dream - Drama of the Ages
What's the album like? I've seriously loved all of their songs I've heard on Sirius and had been meaning to purchase the album. Is it worth the bills?
Its pretty good. Not as good as the wow factor as in the first album. There are more ballad type songs in this new album. A cool thing about the new cd, is they skip track 13. On the downside, the cd is only 38 minutes long.
I do to, but I think I may have just found the best album ever. http://www.emusic.com/album/10864/10864450.html
All - Breaking Things Counterfit - Super Amusement Machine For Your Exciting Heart Refused - Shape Of Punk To Come
Agree with this post but also make sure, ima, that you try Sigur Ros, IMO, the best "post-rock" band out there.
I guess that was me. Glad you like them. Now try: -Architecture in Helsinki -Pit er Pat -Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti -M83 -Caribou (you gonna love them) -Dis*ka enjoy
im already a big fan of architecture in helsinki, m83 and caribou (manitboa). havent heard the new caribou record yet - but im sure its good. m83 will be in austin for austin city limits. never heard of the other 3 though.
The new caribou is excellent. ariel pink's haunted graffiti is very strange lowi but unbelievable great stuff. Pit er Pat is a quite shaky and hard to put in a place indie band. You have good taste
Nearly two years to the day when I saw them, probably for the last time. I think I'll pop that disc in, to try to stave off a bit of the mid-afternoon depression.
I took a chance and went and picked it up tonight Manny, have gotten up through "L'VIAL'VIAQUEZ" I like it so far, its really out there, I was surprised to hear former members are in Sparta, havent heard Sparta but know they are more of an "emo" type band. I like how all the songs run together too. Also do you know whats up with the album cover?
I don't know what the deal is with the album cover. However, their first album "Deloused in the Comatorium" (or something like that) has a similar bizarre album cover. More stuff: "Chill Out" - The KLF "Mezzanine" - Massive Attack "Gold - The Best of Spandau Ballet" - Spandau Ballet "Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks" - Brian Eno "Drukqs" - Aphex Twin "Ege Bamyasi" - Can "Ralf and Florian" - Kraftwerk "Famous Blue Raincoat" - Jennifer Warnes (singing songs of Leonard Cohen)
I literally closed my eyes and grabbed 5 CD's before leaving for work this morning and I hit the jackpot! The JACKPOT, BABY!! Ghost in the Machine - The Police Live double CD - The Police Zenyatta Mondatta - The Police Reggatta de Blanc - The Police Outlandos d' Amour - The Police Obviously my hand was guided by a higher power towards the 'P' section of my collection.
