I saw this article but didnt see it posted, i am not sure if this deserves it's own thread or not but this article had a few interesting pieces on what happened this season with him and the protocol and the back and forth at RGV If this has been postd already please lock. thanks I bolded and hightlighted the section to do with the Rockets. Most of the stuff old but some new things like: he took 500k less, no protocol in place yet, going to RGV was to show that he did want to play. http://www.sbnation.com/longform/20...hite-living-and-working-with-anxiety-disorder
It's sad that he has anxiety attacks, but he should have known what he was in for when he joined the draft. At this point in time, he either wants a free meal or he is very out of touch with reality. The truth of the matter is that he is in the role of a player and entertainer and his job is to help the Rockets win. As much as I have sympathize with his condition, as a fan rooting for his team to win, I don't care about his issues as long as he is a player for my team. Cut his ass and let him be someone else's headache. He is not good enough for the Rockets to continue dealing with him.
whoooaaaa that sht is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long. definitely did not read. someone post some cliffs
Good article. Well worth the time to read. As a Rocket fan, I have always wanted to see Royce be successful even though he has not handled things well. Whether it is a matter of his mental condition, his maturity, his narcissism, his libido, or any other possibility, I hope he is able to make it as a Rocket. I save my vitriol for the Jazz.
That is freakin awesome!! I hit a dear once and broke its legs, shot it with my handgun and put it out of its misery. The way the dear flops around afterward reminds me of that fateful day.
I was scrolling down the article and after about 2 coffee breaks, I finally reached the bottom. #IAmNotRoyceWhite
I don't really care much. Either play or don't but enough talking. That's all I know. Personally, I don't think he will ever cut it in the NBA, Rockets or any other team for that matter. It's not the anxiety, it's his lack of drive.
tell him to watch Iron Man 3. I feel for Royce White, but if you are not fit to play, then do not declare yourself.
